City of Two Rivers: The Two Rivers Parks and Recreation Department will have a Men's Basketball League Thursday nights, December 6th - April 4th. Sign up deadline is November 30th. Fee is $275.00 per team. Program is held at the J.E. Hamilton Community House - Rocheleau Gym. Teams will compete against other teams from the area. Grab your friends, get a sponsor and register! Lakeshore United Methodist Church (LUMC): The Wonder of Christmas, a display of hundreds of nativity scenes artistically arranged, will be featured at Lakeshore United Methodist Church, 411 Reed Ave., November 30th-December 2nd, and December 7th-9th. "There's a Song in the Air" is this year's theme of the free popular annual exhibit promoting Christ's birth as the center of Christmas. the display has been featured in the Lakeshore area for 14 years. Lakeshore Humane Society (LHS) will be in the Lakeshore Holiday Parade in Manitowoc on Wednesday, November 21st and the Two Rivers Hometown Christmas Parade on Saturday, November 24th. Friends of Red Arrow Park: In August and September of 1941, the 32nd Infantry Division participated in the 'Louisiana Maneuvers,' the greatest peacetime maneuver in the history of the United States Army. On April 22nd 1942, the 32nd Infantry Division sailed from San Francisco, bound for the war on the South Pacific. They arrived in Port Adelaide, South Australia on May 14th 1942. On September 15th 1942, the first elements of the Division were flown from Australia to Port Moresby, New Guinea.
