Dear Parents,
Please note that this is the last Tuesday Tidbits publication for the 2016 - 2017 School year. We will send out summer communications to keep you posted on staffing decisions, special events, calendar updates and other important items. We once again thank our wonderful Spiritual Sheppard, Father Weymes, for his guidance and Christ-like example over the years and we wish him a relaxing and blessed retirement. He will remain in our thoughts and prayers for years to come.

We encourage all STS families to participate in this year's Annual Parent Satisfaction Survey. The results from this survey help guide our efforts in developing our Annual Strategic School Improvement Plan. Unfortunately, to date, we have had only 8% of our community participate in this year's survey. Subsequently, in an effort to get more helpful feedback from our school community; we've decided to extend the survey participation window until early August. At that time we will conduct the  drawing for all participants of the survey; to determine the winner of the $500 check.

Click  here to find a letter from the STS Enrollment Management Committee, Mr. Paul Hunter, regarding this year's survey. Here is the   link to the survey:

Please note that the annual PTO Wine and Cheese Event for new families and ambassador families, is scheduled for Wednesday, August 23rd. More details will be provided as we get closer to the event date.

The Tiger Closet will be open for business every Wednesday in July. The meet and greet for new STS families is scheduled for Wednesday, July 19th, on the school playground from 11 a.m. - noon. We look forward to seeing all of our new families there.

Tuition is due! If you are not paying on FACTS, please send a check by July 1st to STS. If you'd like to confirm the amount, please email Mrs. Tara Irons. Thank you!

lost and found
There is an abundance of nice jackets, PE sweats and sweatshirts in the STS lost and found. Please stop by to look through the lost and found to locate any clothing items you might be missing. Also, to earn a jump on your points for next year, we are looking for a volunteer to bag up, wash and donate the clothing to charity. If you can help please contact Mrs. Irons.

Thanks again for a wonderful year. Enjoy your summer!
  God Bless You,
Mr. Joseph M. McLaughlin

Godspeed Class of 2017! We will miss you!
Attention Parents of children with EpiPens, Inhalers or other
medications in the STS Clinic: please remember to come to the clinic to sign out your child's medications.

We will give you new medication forms at that time so that you will have plenty of time over the summer to have them completed by you and your pediatrician to bring back on the first day of  school! Also be aware that any medication not picked up from the clinic will be disposed of according to state regulations.

Also a reminder to the 5th Grade Parents: Thank you to those parents who sent in the proof of immunization or the form sent home last week. If you have done so yet, please send in the Tdap form stating you understand that your child needs the Tdap immunization before the first day of 6th grade.

Have a wonderful summer! God bless!
