The Safety Health and Wellness Committee: Spring weather can be unpredictable — heavy rain, flooding, and even late snowstorms in some regions. Wet conditions increase slip hazards and can make driving treacherous. Facilities should monitor entryways for water accumulation and ensure absorbent mats are in place. Outdoors, check for pooling water near walkways and loading areas. Employees should wear slip-resistant footwear and report hazards promptly. For drivers, reducing speed during rain and maintaining safe following distances helps prevent hydroplaning and collisions. Staying weather-aware is key to safety during spring’s changing conditions.

Mindful Moment: Treat your mind like a workspace, not a storage unit. When tasks, worries, or ideas start piling up, write them down. Getting thoughts out of your head and onto paper (or your phone) clears mental clutter, reduces stress, and helps you focus on what actually matters. A quick daily “brain dump” can make everything feel more manageable and give you a greater sense of control over your day.

Gellings Roofing and Siding: "Our Spring Kickoff Sale is STILL happening! Through April 30th, take up to $500 off per $10,000 spent on roofing, $500 off siding over $10,000, $350 off gutters (150’+), and $125 off installation of 2 or more windows!
