Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital is hosting a community blood drive Wednesday, February 26th, from 1:00-6:00pm in the Whitelaw Conference Room at the hospital. Blood donors help patients facing life-threatening conditions and every donation has the potential to save multiple lives. The blood drive is open to the public. Donors must be at least 16 years old and in general good health. Bring a photo ID or blood donor card, eat a healthy meal, and drink plenty of water before donating. Loud exhibit sounds will be lowered, and sensory backpacks will be available, featuring visual schedules, weighted lap blankets, social narratives, headphones, fidgets, and a communication book. These backpacks are free to check out anytime! | The Chamber of Manitowoc County: Today is your last chance to buy tickets online for the Awards of Distinction Ceremony this Thursday, February 13th at the Capitol Civic Centre. This is the largest business event in our community, with an attendance of about 300 people. Throughout the night we will honor businesses, non-profit organizations, educators, collaborative community projects, and individuals. Reception & hors d’oeuvres begin at 4:30pm. Nominee photos will also be taken during the reception. The Awards Program starts at 6:00pm in the theatre.
