Manitowoc County Kennel Club: Announces sign up for the next session of classes. Registration will be done in person at the club on Albert Drive on Tuesday, February 10th, from 6:00pm - 6:30pm. Please bring proof of vaccinations, negative stool and $80.00 cash or check payment. See our website for details and classes being offered such as Obedience, STAR Puppy, Rally, Agility and Nosework. Big Brothers Big Sisters WI Shoreline: Recruit your friends and coworkers to join Big Brothers Big Sisters WI Shoreline in the 43rd annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake on February 6th-7th at Odyssey Fun Center in Sheboygan Falls or February 27th-28th at Meadow Lanes North in Manitowoc. CESA 7 : The CESA 7 Youth Apprenticeship program is hosting its Manitowoc County Spring Hiring Event Thursday, March 5th at Mishicot High School. Local employers will meet with motivated high school Sophomores and Juniors from Denmark, Mishicot, Reedsville, and Valders who are exploring Youth Apprenticeship opportunities for the 2026–2027 school year. Students will arrive prepared with resumes and ready to discuss potential summer and school-year placements. Employers are encouraged to register by February 17th to reserve a spot. Manitowoc Public Library: Join Wisconsin Maritime Museum's Submarine Curator, Karen Duvalle, for Beneath the Surface: Cobia’s Drydock Story, a behind-the-scenes look at the drydocking of the USS Cobia in Sturgeon Bay. The Safety Health and Wellness Committee: January brings a rise in fire safety concerns, particularly where portable heaters or temporary heating solutions are used. Space heaters, overloaded outlets and extension cords can increase ignition risk if not managed carefully.

Heating devices should be approved for workplace use, kept away from combustible materials and never plugged into power strips.
