The Chamber of Manitowoc County: We have many top ad spots currently available for our “Tuesday Tidbits” and “Keep It Local Thursdays” emails for rest of the year. These weekly emails are sent out to our mailing list of about 1,200 people, and the email is also shared on Facebook with our 3,900 followers. The top ad spot is a great way to bring more attention to your events, fundraisers, programs, deals, offers, jobs, etc. for a great price. The “Tuesday Tidbits” top ad image costs $55, and the “Keep It Local Thursdays” image only costs $40. Top ads are reserved on a first come, first served basis, so please email shannon@chambermanitowoccounty.org to reserve your preferred ad dates today!

Manitowoc Public Library: Help the Library celebrate America on Wednesday, July 2nd, from 2:00-3:00pm and decorate the outside of their windows for the Fourth of July parade! Paint and supplies provided. Registration is not required to “Paint the Library Red, White, & Blue,” but space is limited. Windows will be available on a first come, first served basis. Line up by the Franklin Street garage door to get paint and brushes. In the event of rain, this event will be canceled.

Lester Public Library: July’s Families With STEAM take-home pack is available; make paper tops! Next Wednesday, July 9th at 2:00pm, we're teaming up with Parks & Rec for Creative Roots, an outdoor program for all ages; explore the magic of trees, make seed necklaces and nature journals, and create shadow art. This month's LPL Flix is The Unbreakable Boy; see it on our big screen Friday, July 11th at 1:00pm. And every Monday evening is Family Game Night; we have all your favorites—and free popcorn. 

Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum: Blizzard Book Workshop with Laura Farahzad Mayer: Thursday, July 10th, 5:30–8:30pm. The blizzard book is a unique book form that is made by folding rather than sewing or pasting. It shares a process similar to an accordion fold, allowing for a strong binding, versatile for a variety of content. In this workshop, students will learn the art of the blizzard book. Students will also work to create the pages for their blizzard books. Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Wellness Center invites you to join weekly Healthy Connections educational sessions with staff, physicians and clinicians. Sessions are from 8:30-9:00am each Tuesday in the Cooperstown Conference Room adjacent to the Wellness Center at the Harbor Town Campus. July topics include financial caregivers, nail and foot care, aromatherapy and diabetes medications and monitors. Sessions are free and open to the public. Manitowoc County Kennel Club: Registration for next session of classes is done in person (no dogs) at the Manitowoc County Kennel Club on Albert Dr. on Tuesday, July 15th from 6:00 - 6:30pm. We recommend coming to register closer to 6:00pm as classes are filled on a first come, first serve basis and class sizes are limited. Classes are running July 21st - August 28th. Bring proof of vaccinations, negative stool and $80 payment by cash or check. Painting Pathways: Are you looking for a fun way to spend time with your closest friends? Maybe time to bond with loved ones? How about a creative outlet to team build with coworkers? City of Two Rivers: Join us for Harmony Lives On the Schmitt Brothers Stage on Saturday, July 19th, from 6:00–7:30pm at Two Rivers Central Park, 1700 Washington Street. This FREE concert features barbershop harmony by groups like Harmony To Go, Barber Pops, Encore, Pass Da Buck, Jukebox, and Clipper City Chordsmen. BayCare Clinic: Aurora BayCare Medical Center (1160 Kepler Dr., Green Bay, 2nd Floor) is partnering with the YWCA to host a free Tech GYRLS event on Tuesday, July 29th, from 1:30–3:30pm. Designed for girls ages 8–18, this hands-on STEAM experience encourages exploration in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. Activities include suture stations, casting, X-rays, dissection, math activities, journaling, and snacks. Led by women in STEAM industries, this inspiring event aims to spark curiosity and confidence. Girls 8–15 must be accompanied by an adult. Lincoln Park Zoo Snooze! Come campout at the Zoo! Now in its second year, the Zoo Snooze gives you the unique experience of sleeping under the stars amongst your favorite animals! On the night of August 9th, come pitch a tent with friends and family. Tickets include your designated campsite, a t-shirt with our sweet event logo, dinner that evening and breakfast in the morning. Visit Manitowoc: We are looking for volunteers who want to help with the Wisconsin Sand Sculpting Festival! Go behind the scenes of the big event by helping with set up or general event activities to make everything run smoothly. Lakeshore Balloon Glow: Volunteering at the 2025 Lakeshore Balloon Glow on Friday, August 15th is a blast—and a great way to get involved! Lakeshore College is now accepting interest forms for 2026 Workforce Advancement Training (WAT) Grants. The Wisconsin Technical College System awards WAT funds to help businesses enhance productivity, reduce costs and build employee skills through customized training. Awards range from $2,500 to $200,000. Lakeshore College handles writing, managing and fund disbursement in conjunction with selected businesses for a nominal fee. Manitowoc Health and Rehab Center: Tuesday, June 17th we celebrated one of our best! Jan Lettenberger has celebrated quite the milestone. Jan Studied locally and became a nurse in 1975. This is an amazing accomplishment, and we are so proud of her to be part of our community and our team! Jan currently is our MDS Coordinator and works with our partners daily to provide excellent care for our patients! Way to go, Jan!!!
