The Chamber of Manitowoc County: Position your company in the spotlight at the Lakeshore Balloon Glow, a premier waterfront event that attracts over 5,000 individuals and so many families to Downtown Manitowoc's Riverfront. Check out the food trucks, children’s area, entertainment, enjoy the water ski show, watch as local balloon pilots inflate and glow their hot air balloons, and end the night with a fireworks display. Manitowoc Public Library: It's a One-Two Ice Cream/MPL Combo on Thursday, June 12th, at Cedar Crest Ice Cream Parlor. First up, from 12:00-2:00pm, there will be a Summer Reading Program Sign-Up at Cedar Crest. Be one of the first folks to sign up and get a coupon for a FREE scoop of ice cream. Yum! Then at 1:00 pm, MPL Storytime will take their act on the Road at Cedar Crest with Ms. Betty! Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Hope House of Manitowoc County: Savor your favorite dishes while helping to raise funds for families facing homelessness. You can place your order online or in person at Panda Express on June 12th. Order lunch or dinner as it runs from 12pm-8pm! We organize several fundraisers throughout the year, so please visit our website and follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates. The funds collected provide shelter and hope for our families as they strive to achieve their goals. Your generosity is crucial; without it, homeless families would struggle to find a safe place to stay, receive support, and thrive.

Lester Public Library: Visit the all-new Dramatic Play Center! Bilingual language classes continue 6:00-7:30pm, Wednesdays for English and Spanish speakers. The Teen Anime Club's inaugural meeting is 2:00pm, Thursday—watch, talk about manga, do projects, snack, and collaborate to determine a regular meeting time and what to watch next. Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum: BIWOC Artists-in-Residence FREE Gallery Talk, June 19th, 5:30-7:00pm. BIWOC Letterpress Printing Workshop, June 20th, 5:30-8:30pm. Melissa Blount, Jenn Graves, and Desiree Aspiras will be on site for two weeks to print, offer a workshop, and deliver an on-site gallery talk. Lakeshore Ladies Disc Golf Corporation: Looking for a fun outdoor event? Come watch the 2025 United States Women's Disc Golf Championships in Manitowoc, June 19th-22nd! Enjoy the beautiful courses and thrilling competition. Spectator passes are available at 2025uswdgc.com. Kids are welcome!

Ascend Services: The fourth annual Swing Fore Ascend Golf Outing is just a few weeks away! Be ready to hit the links on June 23rd at Autumn Ridge Golf Course. Registration is open and sponsorships are available! 36 teams (4) golfers per team will compete in a fun day of 18 awesome holes of golf! It is $300 to register a team of 4! ($75 per person). Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital’s caregiver support group offers caregivers a place to both embrace the joys and navigate the challenges of being a primary caregiver for a loved one. Whether you have just started your journey as a caregiver or you are a longtime caregiver, we invite you to join, share experiences and learn from each other. Manitowoc County Kennel Club: Registration for next session of classes is done in person (no dogs) at the Manitowoc County Kennel Club on Albert Dr. on Tuesday, July 15th from 6:00 - 6:30pm. We recommend coming to register closer to 6:00pm as classes are filled on a first come, first serve basis and class sizes are limited. Classes are running July 21st - August 28th. Bring proof of vaccinations, negative stool and $80 payment by cash or check. Lakeshore College now offers a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt program for businesses and their employees. This hands-on training in the DMAIC problem-solving framework and Lean methodology builds real-world skills in process improvement, efficiency, and quality—delivering immediate measurable impact. Students who complete the course will earn six credits. Classes are held Thursdays from 8:00am-4:30pm beginning August 21st except for November 13th which will be held from 8:00am-noon to accommodate project presentations. United Way Manitowoc County: REGISTER TODAY for United Way’s Day of Action on Friday, June 20th! Day of Action is a great stepping-stone to your volunteer journey or a perfect way to strengthen your current volunteer work. The event begins at 8:00am with a light breakfast and kickoff at United Way’s office. At 8:30am, volunteers depart for their project sites: Camp Tapawingo, Hope House of Manitowoc County, Manitowoc County Historical Society, or The Salvation Army of Manitowoc County. Volunteers then meet for lunch between 12:30-1:30pm at Northeastern Wisconsin Area Health Education Center. Learn about each site project and sign up here.
