Wisconsin Maritime Museum: Join us for a weekend of maritime craftsmanship at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum’s 48th Annual Midwestern Model Ships & Boats Contest! Public viewing is open Saturday, May 17th (10:00am–4:00pm) and Sunday, May 18th (10:00am–2:00pm). Admire over 25 handcrafted ship models from the USS Missouri to the SV Denis Sullivan and enjoy outdoor radio-controlled boat demos. Also, vote for your favorite model in the People’s Choice Award! This event is included with museum admission. 

Crossfire Ranch: Bring the kids and adults of all ages to Crossfire Ranch’s annual Picnic with the Ponies event on Saturday, May 17th from 11:00am – 3:00pm at 5912 Nagel Road in Valders. Manitowoc County Kennel Club offers Dog Agility classes and trials. Agility is a canine sport where dogs must correctly and rapidly perform a series of obstacles under the guidance of their handlers. The obstacles a dog may need to perform include a variety of jumps, tunnels, a seesaw, a narrow "dogwalk", a tall a-frame, weave poles, and a table. The handler runs with the dog and guides the dog to the correct obstacle with voice and signals. See our website for more information.
