Unity Hospice: Join me in sharing this video highlighting Unity’s patients, families, staff and volunteers to raise #HospiceAwareness in celebration of #HospiceMonth: https://youtu.be/cxlpiA7iDt4! Hospice care is holistic, specialized care and support when your life expectancy is measured in months instead of years, and comfort is your primary goal. The mission of nonprofit hospice providers, like Unity, is centered on people, not profits. Nonprofits reinvest every dollar earned back into patient care, family support, and community services.

Mindful Moment: Combat daily stress by scheduling "transition rituals" between work and personal time. Whether you commute or work from home, create a deliberate boundary: take a ten-minute walk, change clothes, or listen to a favorite song. This signals your brain to shift modes, preventing work tension from bleeding into evening hours. Without this buffer, stress accumulates as your mind never fully disengages. These small ceremonies help you mentally close one chapter before opening another, improving presence with loved ones and sleep quality. Protecting these moments isn't indulgent, it's essential maintenance for your nervous system and relationships.
