The 14th annual Lights in Lincoln Park will be here soon, and sponsorship opportunities are going fast! Each year individuals, families, businesses & organizations sponsor one of our beautiful light displays. In turn, sponsors are recognized with an illuminated sign near their display, in the event program, on our website, and in social media posts. With 10,000+ visitors in the course of 5 weeks, sponsoring the light show is a great way to honor a loved one, effectively market your business, and is a wonderful way to support the zoo! Roncalli High School: Roncalli’s talented student performers bring the classic musical comedy "Bye Bye Birdie" to life November 13th–15th at 7:00pm and November 16th at 2:00pm in the Zimmer Auditorium at Roncalli High School’s Fine Arts Center. Pink Heals Manitowoc County Trap Shoot Manitowoc Gun Club, 3112 Clover Rd., Saturday, November 8th, 9:00am–3:00pm. $30 to shoot, $5 to Pink Heals, $5 Lewis Purse, 50 targets at 16 yards, 60/40 payout. Support a great cause! Pink Heals helps men, women & children in Manitowoc County currently battling any type of cancer.

Felician Village will host a Holiday Craft and Vendor Fair on Saturday, November 8th from 8:00am – 2:00pm at 1635 S. 21st Street, Manitowoc. This FREE event is open to the public. Get your holiday shopping started or finished by visiting the 30 vendor booths. Santa will be stopping by for a visit along with face painting and live music from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Manitowoc Public Library: Everyone has a story to tell! Why not tell your spookiest one at “Tales from the Taproom 4: A Scary StorySlam for Adults (21+) at PetSkull Brewery,” haunting the Taproom on Thursday, October 30th, from 6:00pm-8:00pm? No props, no notes. Just five minutes and a creepy true story. Presented in partnership with MPL and sponsored by Seehafer News, this installment’s theme is "What Was That?!?" Any unsettling tale you feel comfortable telling that gave you the heebie-jeebies! See you at PetSkull—IF YOU DARE!!!

United Way Manitowoc County: Join us for a morning of story time, creativity, and community! On Saturday, November 8th from 10:30am–Noon, bring your little ones to The Nook in Manitowoc for a special reading and signing of “Bob’s Birthday Blobs” with local author Naomi Raddatz. Kids can enjoy a fun art project inspired by the book, and every book purchase helps support early childhood literacy through United Way’s Dolly Parton Imagination Library. United Way and Women United reps will be on hand to share more about the program. Guests can enter to win one of three books—and The Nook is giving away a free drink in a separate drawing!

Lakeshore Wind Ensemble Association: Lakeshore Big Band - Let’s Dance!! Conductor Paul Sucherman. Dinner & Dance at Knox’s Silver Valley, Friday, November 7th at 6:30pm. Enjoy an intimate evening with dinner and the Big Band concert complete with a dance floor to enjoy swaying with your partner to Benny Goodman’s “Let’s Dance,” Henry Mancini’s “Moon River,” and of course Glenn Miller’s classic “In the Mood!”  Tickets can be purchased online at Eventbrite and are not part of the season ticket package.

League Womens Voters Manitowoc County: Vote with Grands, intergenerational discussions on democracy, will kick off Wednesday, November 5th, 6:00pm to 8:00pm, with a Trivia Night at the Manitowoc-Two Rivers YMCA. The campaign aims to encourage voter registration and civic participation among younger voters through dialogue between generations. “Grands” includes grandparents, parents, grandkids, and all those connected intergenerationally or seeking such connections. The Trivia Night and future events are sponsored by the League of Women Voters – Manitowoc County, a non-partisan organization focusing on voter education. Trivia Night is open to the public and no registration is required. Snacks will be provided.

The Safety Health and Wellness Committee: Know your workplace noise levels! If you or your fellow co-workers are hearing ringing in the ears, must shout to be heard an arm’s length away or experience temporary hearing loss when leaving work, noise levels may be a problem in your workplace. OSHA requires employers to know when noise exposure is over 85 decibels averaged over 8 working hours or an 8-hour-time weighted average (TWA). Take the noise decibel reading, map where the level measurement was taken and record them annually in your workplace.
