Mindful Moment: Give Your Mind a Break: With so much information competing for our attention, giving your mind a break can be a healthy habit. Try practicing single-tasking by giving one activity your full attention instead of constantly switching between screens. Replace some screen time with activities that engage your senses, such as taking a walk, listening to music, cooking, gardening, or having a conversation. And when notifications and headlines appear, pause and ask yourself, “Do I need to know this right now?” Not everything needs your immediate attention.
