A resource for professional development and news for DuPage County Educators
Hello, and Happy Tuesday!

As the 2019-2020 school year winds up, we hope you are doing well, staying healthy, and geared up to finish strong.

Below are some resources and learning opportunities for you. Please take advantage of them and pass them along to your peers as appropriate.
During the month of May, the DuPage ROE is offering 20 different online professional development sessions for only $20 each. Each session includes two hours of professional development/continued credit hours. Check out the flyer  here .  Registration closes three business days prior to the session. 

This overview training of Washington Aggression Intervention Training will introduce cognitive-behavioral interventions designed to assist youth with aggression, reduce anti-social behaviors, and offer an alternative of prosocial skills. For more information, click here.

Join Dr. Melissa Sadin for a Zoom webinar that focuses on creating a trauma-informed classroom with a focus on special education students. Click here for more information on this free training, which is being provided through a BJA STOP grant.

This overview training of Washington Aggression Intervention Training focuses on the elementary version of the social-emotional learning program. It is designed to assist youth with interpersonal skills, self-control in dealing with anger, and the process of problem solving. For more information, click here.

The DuPage ROE is now offering a number of Administrator Academies virtually via the Zoom platform. Please see the attached flyer for dates and course offerings. Additional academies will be added in the coming weeks so check the ROE website for other course offerings.
