MOBOTREX MINUTE

Peace of mind with the Electronic Cabinet Lock

How safe are your traffic cabinets?  These days anyone can buy a #2 key on the internet and potentially gain access to your traffic cabinet and management system.

The Eagle Electronic Cabinet Lock is designed to  only allow access to authorized users for a traffic or  ITS cabinet.  Using a "two-factor authentication"  process, the user needs both a #2 key and a  passcode or proximity card to access the cabinet.   This eliminates the need to install padlocks or  purchase new electronic keys and distribute them to  maintenance technicians and contractors that need  access to the cabinet.   For more information on the Eagle Electronic Cabinet Lock download the data sheet here .

Willie Outlaw, Electrical Design Engineer at MoboTrex, will be giving a presentation at the upcoming St. Louis and Minnesota User's Groups discussing this product.

Know your traffic trivia? Here's your chance to show us.
TRAFFIC TRIVIA
Today's trivia question is:

What is the difference between a Latching and a Non-Latching push button?

(Hint: it has something to do with a red light)

Send your answer to marketing@MoboTrex.com
with  Traffic Trivia  in the subject line.
The answer to the January 7th  trivia question was Hampton, VA who was the first city to install the countdown signals as a demonstration project in 1996.  Also accepted was San Francisco, CA which was the first major city to install them in 2001.

Thanks to all that played.
