Red Light Running Prevention from Iteris
Safety is a key priority for all agencies, and red light running crashes are one of the biggest safety issues plaguing cities around the country. Iteris and the City of Lakeland, FL have teamed up to address the reduction of red light running crashes through the use of radar detection technology, signal performance measure (SPM) data analytics, and advanced controller capabilities. SPM data can show when cars are entering the intersection during and after the red phase.
