Dave Briggs

CNN morning host John Berman and veteran journalists Alisyn Camerota and Dave Briggs headline an all-star panel that will break down the news media’s evolution following the 2024 election.

Berman will be joined by Camerota, formerly of CNN and Fox News, and Briggs, whose experience spans CNN, Fox News, and Yahoo Finance. The panel will also feature Staples High School's award-winning journalism teacher Mary Elizabeth Fulco, co-teacher and literary magazine editor Joseph Del Gobbo, and student representatives from Staples High School's journalism program to explore the media's role in democracy and the future of journalism.

Any Interest in Forming an Activity in Mindfulness?

Paul Epstein recently joined the Y’s Men and would like to start a mindfulness group.

He says that "there is a growing body of research on the benefits of mindfulness for health, healing, and happiness. If there’s enough interest, we can figure out the details together.

"For instance, we might start with a period of meditation followed by a discussion of various teachings. We could then end each session by exploring ways to integrate mindfulness into our daily lives."

He suggests that a first meeting could be held at his home. Paul has taught mindfulness for 50 years, including at the Westport Center for Senior Activities. He also is the author of Happiness through Meditation.
