2017 "Way of Generosity" Update

As of December 18, 387 households have committed a total of $1,803,440 toward a budget of $3,225,000 for 2017. If you have not yet made a commitment for 2017, we encourage you to go online here to do so. Your giving supports ministries that are making a difference here in the church, in our community, and around the world. Thank you.
Mission Box
The mission box and Christmas offering is going to Rawlings Elementary School. A key way to improve learning for children is to enhance their environment; Rawlings is going to convert the school's media center into a collaborative learning environment. This space at the heart of the school's campus would engage students in work situations that include book creation, a hands-on science and technology area, a communication hub, and even a family area where parents could come on campus and experience learning with their children. Your gifts have the potential to make a lifelong impact.

Longest Night Service
The Longest Night is a service of scripture, stories, special music, silent reflection and healing prayer. It's a time to recognize that Christmas can be a bittersweet time of the year. So on the longest night, we invite you to experience a meditative worship service that takes time for remembering, sharing our hurting places with God, and preparing our hearts for the coming of Christ. Join us on December 21st at 6:35pm in the Chapel to acknowledge God's presence for those who mourn, who grieve, and who struggle. God's Word comes to shine light in our darkness.
