Mission Box
The mission box this week will support Trinity's Spring Break Youth Medical Mission trip to Nicaragua, March 18-25. A team of high school youth and adults will set up and provide medical clinics for a week in the mountains of Nicaragua. This is an awesome trip for our youth to both experience the medical field, and impact so many lives in the villages where we host clinics.
Wednesday Night Dinner
Join us for food, fun and fellowship! The menu for January 18 is roast pork loin, baby potatoes, garlic green beans, biscuits, soup, salad, and dessert.   Gluten free/dairy free options are available.

The kitchen will be open from 5 - 6:30pm. Adult meals are $7, children 6 and up are $3, 0-5 eat free with a $25 family cap.

Help Needed!
Stepping Stones is in need of a helicopter or a hot air balloon for our spring event called "Transportation Celebration!"  This event will be held on   March 31 at   5:30pm. If you can help us make our event "take off," please contact the school office ( 416-3025). Thank you!

SMILE Mentoring Program
Do you have 30 minutes during lunch to be an "encourager" for a Rawlings Elementary student?   The SMILE mentoring program is in its 2nd  year and currently serving 45 children. SMILE is a Faith Mission partnership with Greenhouse Church and Rawlings to support and encourage students who may most benefit.  There are 12 more students that Rawlings is asking us to serve this semester!  Could you be one of the 12?  45 minute orientations will be held at Rawlings on  January 31 at 1pm and February 2 at 2pm.  Please see here for details and contact Ward for more information.
Would you like your child baptized?
All parents are asked to participate in a Baptism Orientation prior to the baptism of their child. The next Baptism Orientation will be held January 29 at 12:10pm in room 125. Childcare will be provided. Please contact Elizabeth Jones (416-3045) for more information.
We're Hiring!
Stepping Stones is hiring a music teacher from 8:30am - 12pm every other Thursday and Friday.  If you are interested, please contact the school at 416-3025.
Blood Drive
Give from the heart - give blood.  Life South is experiencing a severe shortage of all blood types.  Please make plans to donate at Trinity on January 22 , from  8:30am - 12:30pm , and help to save up to 3 lives with each donation.
Healing Touch
Healing Touch Cancer Support Group will meet on January 19 at 5:30  in the O. Dean Martin Prayer Room. All cancer patients, survivors, friends, and family are welcome as we look to God for strength and encouragement.
Start off 2017 surrounded by loving and supportive people on their own cancer journey.
Stepping Stones Enrollment
Stepping Stones Enrollment for returning students, their siblings, and alumni siblings will be held January 18 - 20. Open Enrollment for the public will be offered February 1, for children 15 months by June 1, 2017; and February 2, for children that will be 2 years by September 1, 2017. We do not anticipate having room for new students in the 3's and Pre-k classes, however you may call the school office (416-3025) on February 3 to check on availability.
Community Conversations
The Trinity Church Council is hosting a series of town hall style events to provide ongoing and open dialogue between the general congregation and lay/staff leadership of the church. The first Trinity Community Conversation will be held January 30 at 7:00pm.  At this meeting lay and staff leaders will make a short presentation regarding current ministries and initiatives of the church. The majority of the time will be set aside for Q & A from the congregation in which any topic can be discussed. All members of the Trinity community are welcome and encouraged to attend. Please mark your calendars to learn more about the exciting things happening at Trinity and to provide your voice and suggestions. Please RSVP here or call Shannon Rosselle at 416-3005.

Christian love and sympathy is extended to Janet Holley (her father) and Christie Bledsoe (her grandfather) on the passing of Orvan Henry Thompson on January 6; and to Julio Pomar and family on the passing of his wife, Carla Hotvedt, on January 14.

This week's altar flowers are given to the Glory of God.

If you would like to provide the altar flowers or need to make arrangements for assistance or special accommodations during Sunday services, please contact Shannon (416-3005) Monday - Thursday. If you would like to have your milestone birthday announced, please email Kelly
