Mission Box
The mission box this week supports P.E.T. (Personal Energy Transportation) which is a volunteer group that produces "wheelchairs that go where ordinary wheelchairs cannot go."  These sturdy, individually-build, hand-powered carts are sent to over 100 countries to people who have lost the use of their legs because of land mines, accidents, birth defects, polio, and other diseases.  The workshop at Penney Farms has a goal of 800 PETS for 2017, at a cost of $300 per PET, all paid for by donations.  In the past three years, the money from Trinity's Mission Boxes has paid to build over 35 PETS.  For information about volunteering please contact Ted Grueser (416-3043) or Jeannine Cawthon ( 375-2349) .
