Worship: Sundays @ 8:15, 9:40, 11:00 am | Wednesdays @ 6:35 pm
Known for its daily news app popular with young adults, theSkimm is an American media company that focuses on a short, simple, easy-to-read way to learn about the news and current events. Many people could use a short, simple, easy-to-understand way to learn about the Bible as well. In this 6 week series, we will "skim" the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, looking at how to read it, understand it, and learn about its people and themes. Most importantly, as you gain new insights, you'll be inspired by the Scriptures and their meaning for your life today. If you're simply curious about the Bible or if you're a long-time believer, this series will strengthen your faith and help the Word come alive to you in ways you won't soon forget!

This Sunday's sermon title is theProphets: Keep It Simple, (Micah 6:8) by Rev. Steve Price.

Mission Box
This week's Mission Box will support East Side Student Assistance, Inc. (ESSA). ESSA provides college scholarships for students living in subsidized housing, primarily in east Gainesville. Carmel Baptist Church and local civil rights leader, who believed, "There are some people out there with good minds that need a chance." (text 2 give keyword: essa)
