Mission Box
This week's Mission Box is for Faith Mission.  Faith Mission is a church and neighborhood collaboration located at 3701 NE 15th Street. We are Hiring
We are looking for an evening (Monday - Thursday, 4:30-8:30pm) receptionist/administrative assistant with the gifts of hospitality and administration and a heart for Jesus Christ. This is a 16 hour/week, part-time position. An effective candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic. This person serves as Trinity's first point of welcome and security in the evenings, while at the same time handling multiple administrative tasks. He or she will be able to be productive with minimal supervision. This person will possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and will have experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office and confidence in learning new systems and software. Trinity is hosting families from the Family Promise program April 22 - 29 and we are in need of overnight hosts! Please check your calendars and consider volunteering to host in the evenings or overnight, or assist with initial setup or departure cleanup. Adult Ministries
A Disciple's Path course i s a 7 week class for someone wishing to become a member of Trinity or a refresher course for seasoned church members desiring to take the next step in discipleship. It is a unique and engaging approach to the study of discipleship within the context of the Wesleyan/United Methodist heritage and tradition. (Sundays, April 29 - June 17 at 11:00am, led by Roger & Beth Haines, this class is free for newcomers who are considering membership,$15 for all others). Women Growing in Faith (Tuesdays, 6:30 - 8:30pm, room 232) will begin a new study on April 17 called The Armor of God, by Priscilla Shirer.  Books are $15 and are available at the bookstore or on the first day of class. 
Spanish Teacher Needed
Nosotros no hablamos espanol..... We are looking for a volunteer Spanish teacher for next school year (August 2018 - May 2019) to teach our 3 and 4 year old afternoon classes. We are looking for someone who is available one day a week from 1:30 - 2:30pm.   The classes would rotate on a 20 minute session schedule. Caring & Support
Healing Touch Cancer Support Group meets in the O. Dean Martin Prayer Room at 5:30pm on April 19. Join us as we come together as cancer patients, survivors, friends, and family looking to God for the healing we need through our faith in Christ.  This month our topic will be "Surrender."  Please join us as we support and encourage one another on our life journey.  For more info, contact Marcey at 331-2960 or Margie at 386-462-9592.

Trinity's Healing Room is open April 19 from 6:30-9 pm in room 207. Come and join us for confidential healing prayer for yourself or to receive prayer for another person.  
Prayer in the Chapel
Catherine has invited everyone to join her for a time of prayer in the Chapel every Tuesday through May 15 from 5 - 6pm.  It will be a time to sit together in silent prayer listening for God's direction and praying for our church. During that hour, you are welcome to come and go as you need to and to come any week you are able.
Christian love and sympathy is extended
to the entire Pavlik family on the passing of Stephen William Pavlik on April 11; wife Trish; daughters Lindsey Ammons and her husband Duane and Kim Clark and her husband Patrick; son, Jason Pavlik and his wife Rachel; and grandchildren, Jack, Katelyn, Benjamin, Emerson, Cole, and Jordan.
