Worship: Sundays @ 8:15, 9:40, 11:00 am | Wednesdays @ 6:35 pm
cantataPalm Sunday Worship
Inspired by Celtic music traditions and using folk songs, hymns, and sacred songs, come hear the assurance of God's love and grace through the redemptive work of Christ on Calvary, as the combined adult choirs (Chalice and Chancel Choir) offer a cantata by Joseph Martin, "The Canticle of the Cross."  Scripture, prayer, and poetry weave the music together for a reflective message on Palm Sunday.  We will offer only two services this Sunday as the choir offers the cantata at both the 9:40 and 11:00 services, there will be no 8:15 service.
Desert Wanderings: Exploring Questions of Faith
This week we continue Desert Wanderings, our 6:35 worship series for Lent. Each week, one of our pastors will share a message based on your questions about faith. To submit yours, go here. At the end of worship each Wednesday, one of the questions received will be randomly drawn by a member of the congregation and become the focus for the following week's message.

This week's message will be, "An Inspired Word" by Rev. Steve Price.
Mission Box
From July 20-28 a team of teens and adults from Trinity, Mt. Pleasant, and Bartley Temple United Methodist Churches will be traveling to Guatemala to help build a home in San Pablo La Laguana with ODIM (Organization for the Development of the Indigenous Maya). ODIM, a small Methodist supported mission, serves two villages in rural Guatemala and has many programs, including two small medical clinics. This week's mission box will help cover the teams expenses, as well as support additional ODIM needs.  (Text giving: text amount and "odim" to 352-204-0163)

We will be offering a Seder meal at 5:30pm in the Worship Center. Reservations are required, find out more here.

Good Friday Worship (April 19)
12pm in the Chapel: Scripture says beginning at noon darkness came over the whole land as Christ was crucified.  We will gather at noon to remember God's purpose of loving and redeeming the world through the cross of Christ in the beauty and simplicity of the Trinity Chapel.

7pm in the Memorial Garden: Tenebrae comes from the Latin word meaning "darkening."  As the sun begins to set on Good Friday, we'll gather in the Trinity Memorial Garden to worship using the ancient service of Tenebrae, the gradual diminishing of light through the extinguishing of candles.  This symbolizes the events of the week from Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem through Jesus' burial.  We will leave in silence as we ponder the impact of Christ's death and await the coming Resurrection.

Easter Sunday (April 21)
Easter Sunrise in the Memorial Garden (7am): If you're an early riser, then meet us in the Garden as the sun rises. Youth Director, Rebekah Saveland will be preaching, and the Trinity youth will be leading worship and music. This will also be a beautiful opportunity to celebrate baptisms on this resurrection Sunday. Please contact the pastors if you or your child would like to make a profession of faith in Christ and/or be baptized.

8:15, 9:40, or 11am in the Worship Center: As we celebrate the resurrection, these three services will be held in the Worship Center with music offered by Chalice Adult Choir, Sonlight Youth Choir, and the Chancel Choir respectively. Rev. Catherine Fluck Price will be preaching. If you have children, join us for a special Easter morning in Sunday School at 9:40 and/or 11:00 where you'll hear the good news that Jesus has risen! In lieu of an Easter Egg hunt, every child will receive a goody bag filled with Easter treats and we'll have child care during all three services.

Dressing Pastor Steve for Easter
While in Rwanda last month, Pastor Steve had this shirt custom-made by one of several ZOE graduates who now own and operate a tailor shop. Now you get to decide if we will all see him wearing it for worship on Easter Sunday. You can vote FOR the shirt with your contribution to the "YES, he wears it!" fund or AGAINST the shirt with your contribution to the "NO, he doesn't!" fund. All contributions to both funds will go toward supporting our ZOE kids. The fund with the most contributions wins.

You can "vote" on Sunday morning,  online here , or text the amount and either "yes" or "no" to 352-204-0163.
Christian love and sympathy is extended
to Pamela Olcott and family on the passing of her son, Prana 'Alex' Ashodian on March 17 ;
