Worship: Sundays @ 9:30, 11:00 am | Wednesdays @ 6:35 pm
Sunday Worship
This week's message will be "A Courageous Witness" by Rev. Steve Price.

Please join us after the 11am service for fellowship, food trucks, and children's activities.
Wednesday Worship
In many ways, Simon Peter is a hero of the New Testament, the rock on which Jesus built the church. But he also got it wrong. A lot. And the gospel writers didn't shy away from presenting his story as one that not only had triumphs but also fear and confusion, falterings and flaws. Join us Wednesday nights at 6:35 in the Chapel as we explore his story and consider how it can inform our own.

This week's message will be "Two Steps Forward, One Step Down" by Rev. Ben Richards.
New Worship Schedule Begins September 1
We are pleased to announce a new Sunday worship schedule that begins on September 1. Three weekly services will be offered: an 8:15 Traditional Service in the Chapel, a 9:30 Modern Service in the Worship Center, and an 11:00 Traditional Service in the Worship Center. As Trinity seeks to provide multiple distinct worship experiences on a weekly basis that connect with people both inside and outside of our church across a broad range of ages and style preferences, we believe that this new schedule will help us offer the very best experience at each.
Mission Box
This week's mission box supports Trinity's Faith Mission ministry at 3701 NE 15th St. We serve in our neighborhood in a variety of ways, such as the Kids Count after school program, the Leaders Overcoming through Faith (LOF) youth group, and the Women to Women fellowship. Our Faith Mission focus this Sunday is the SMILE program at Rawlings Elementary, where volunteers come once a week to serve as an "encourager" in the life of a child. Thank you for your support of Faith Mission! (Text giving: text amount and "faith" to 352-204-0163)
Wednesday Night Dinners
Join us for food, fun & fellowship. The menu for August 21 is Chicken Cordon Blue, Smashed Potatoes, Broccoli, Rolls, Salad, Soup, and Dessert. Dairy and gluten free options are available. The kitchen is open from 5 - 6:30pm. Adult meals are $7, children 6 and up are $3, and 0-5 eat free, with a $25 family cap.

It takes a lot of hands to make this weekly fellowship successful. If you are able to assist the kitchen in any way please contact  Chris Riggs .
Note Cards for Talbot & Rawlings
Trinity is continuing our tradition of being good neighbors to Talbot and Rawlings Elementary Schools by writing notes of appreciation and encouragement to each of the teachers, staff, and administrators. This Sunday, we'll have note cards on a table by the Welcome Center for you to take home and sign and bring back to us. We'd also love for you to include $5. (Please don't seal the envelope.) We will purchase a gift card to Target, Walmart, Amazon, or even Starbucks for the teachers to enjoy and to help in their classrooms. What a blessing this will be to both schools as we offer them an encouraging word to begin the school year.
Missions
Shoe Drive: Every day victims of human trafficking/abuse enter the child welfare sytem, often with no shoes. The Alachua County Coalition Against Human Trafficking (ACCAHT) is doing a shoe drive for these victims and is looking for new, female sneakers or skater shoes (such as Converse/Vans) in adult sizes 6 - 9 or gift cards from shoe stores. You can place these donations in the blue bins in the Narthex or the Education Building. For more information, please email ACCAHT or call (352) 639-0924.
