Anniversary Celebration
Save the dates! On Sundays, August 11, 18 and 25,  we'll be celebrating the 60th anniversary of Trinity.  
 
On August 18, we'll have ONE worship service at 9:30am and Rev. Dan Johnson will be back to give the message. Afterwards, please stay for fellowship with heavy hors d'oeuvres.  
 
On August 25, please join us after the 11:00am service for fellowship, food trucks, and children's activities. 
New Worship Schedule Begins September 1
We are pleased to announce that a new Sunday worship schedule will begin on September 1. Three weekly services will be offered, including an 8:15 service in the Chapel followed by 9:30 and 11:00 services in the Worship Center. As Trinity seeks to provide multiple distinct worship experiences on a weekly basis that connect with people across a broad range of ages and style preferences, this new schedule will help us offer our very best at each.
Mission Box
This week's Mission Box is Rebuilding Together North Central Florida. Rebuilding is a home repair organization dedicated to addressing the substandard housing needs in North Central Florida. They strive to increase safety, security, and well-being for residents in need by providing a tangible place for the community members to get involved in rebuilding efforts. Repairs are completed through coordination efforts, community contributions, and sub-contracted services. Volunteers of all skill levels are trained to help meet significant housing requirements in the communities, giving them a firm foundation for a successful life. Wednesday Night Dinners
Join us for food, fun & fellowship. We'll have our annual kick-off dinner on August 14 with FREE SPAGHETTI! Dairy and gluten free options are available. The kitchen is open from 5 - 6:30pm. After August 14, adult meals will be $7, children 6 and up are $3, 0-5 eat free with a $25 family cap.  
 
It takes a lot of hands to make this weekly fellowship successful. If you are able to assist the kitchen in any way please contact  Chris Riggs .  
Youth
UMYF Blessing of the School Year Ice Cream Party & Parents Meeting: On August 11 from 5:30-6:30pm all youth AND PARENTS are invited to meet at the youth building to bless the school year and eat ice cream. While the youth dive into the ice cream and play games we will have a parents meeting for all youth parents.

UMYF Fall Kickoff Water Day: On August 18 from 5:30-7:30pm all 6th-12th graders are invited to our Fall Semester Youth Kickoff Water Day which will be full of slip & slides, inflatables, and a lot of fun! Bring $10 for dinner.

Missions
We only have 1 spot left on a mission trip to dig the well in honor of Ted Grueser in El Salvador from February 16 - 22, 2020. The cost of the trip is $2,200 per person. If you would like to attend, please let Kelly Ping (416-3048) know ASAP!

We are going on a mission trip to Port St. Joe in the Panhandle to help with Hurricane Michael clean up September 22- 27. This will be a construction - based trip, but all ability levels are welcome! If you would like to attend, please register here

Trinity is hosting families from the Family Promise program August 4 - 11. Please check your calendars and consider volunteering to host in the evenings or overnight, or assist with initial setup or departure cleanup. Everything takes place at Trinity, and there are options to suit your availability and comfort level. Thanks in advance for helping your Trinity family host these local families in need! Children & Families Ministries  
It's "Pajama Time" at the next Parent's Night Out on August 9 from 5:30-8:30pm so wear your favorite pj's! The kids will enjoy pizza, crafts and a fun movie for ages 12 months and walking through 5th grade. $10 per child, cost includes activities. Pizza dinner is available for $4 each, or you may bring your own dinner. Please register and pay online by August 7.

Promotion Sunday is this Sunday, August 11!  Children will move up to their new grade levels/rooms. We are excited to have everyone back from summer vacation! If you are retaining or double promoting your child, please let Amy know so we can update our records.

3rd Grade Parents:  3rd Grade Bible Presentation is September 8 at 9:40am. When we give the gift of a Bible to our children, we continue to experience and explore the beautiful faith we all share. Please register your 3rd grader by September 1.  If you are in 4th grade or 5th grade and did not receive a Bible, please email Amy. We want everyone to have the opportunity to receive a Bible from Trinity!

Volunteer Opportunities: Did you know research has shown that children need at least five caring adults to help them grow? Five people who know their hopes and dreams.  Five people who can offer wisdom when life gets confusing. Five people who care about them and pray for them. Wouldn't you like to be one of those five adults? Come serve with Trinity's Children and Family Ministries Team as a Sunday morning volunteer during either the 9:30 or 11:00 hour. Caring & Support
The Widows/Widowers support group meeting will be August 6 at 5:30pm at Northwest Grille (5115 NW 39th Ave).
 
The Healing Touch Cancer Support Group will meet August 15 at 5:30pm in Room 204. Join us as we welcome Scott Barnett from Stillpoint Therapy Center. All cancer patients and survivors will benefit as we hear more about the healing services this center offers. If we can help, call Marcey at 331-2960 or Margie at 386-462-9592.
Director of Communications: We are searching for an outstanding candidate to fill our Director of Communications position. This individual should have a passion and appreciation for the principles of servant leadership, integrity, and the pursuit of excellence. They should also be approachable and have excellent verbal and written skills, as well as a creative mindset. 9:30 Accompanist (Piano/Keyboard):
Trinity is currently seeking an accompanist for the 9:30 service. Responsibilities include attending weekly worship band rehearsals and participating in weekly 9:30 services throughout the year. The best applicants will be proficient at reading chord charts and learning new music quickly, eager to serve in a team environment, and desire an opportunity to use their musical gifts in a worship setting. Worship Arts Assistant: We are looking for a part-time Worship Arts Assistant. They are responsible for supporting the Director of Worship Arts and the worship arts team. Applicants should submit their application, resume, and cover letter to Alice Wallis.

Custodians: We are looking for driven and motivated individuals to serve on our day or evening custodial team. These are part-time positions (20 hours/week) responsible for providing a welcoming and hospitable environment.
