Worship: Sundays @ 8:15, 9:40, 11:00 am | Wednesdays @ 6:35 pm
Once Upon a Holy Night
The thrill of hope...the weary world rejoices...a new and glorious morn. These lines from a beautiful old carol sound like they could have been scripted for our world today. Come worship with us this Advent season as we make room in our hearts for the good news of a babe born in a manger.

This Sunday's message is "A Weary World Rejoices," by Rev. Catherine Fluck Price.
Love Came Down at Christmas
6:35 Wednesday Night Contemporary Worship Service message series from November 28 - December 19. Each week we will be bringing the story of Christmas alive with a modern reading of the Biblical text. Join us to see how the story unfolds!

This Wednesday's message is "Finding Joy in the Muck," by Meghan Williams.
Mission Box
This week's Mission Box is for Faith Mission, a Trinity UMC ministry at 3701 NE 15th St., that is a place of grace, love, and hope.  The Kids Count after school program, SMILE mentoring program, LOF youth group, Women-to-Women sharing group, and Financial Empowerment Team are examples of Faith Mission serving with humility.  Renovations at Faith Mission have been significant, and financial support is needed to continue improvements on the facility and the grounds.  Thank you very much for your support through this week's mission box! (text 2 give keyword: faith).

Christmas Eve Serving Opportunities

There's no better time to connect with people who do not regularly attend church than on Christmas Eve.  And therefore it's a time when we want to offer our best Trinity hospitality!  Please make a commitment to be a part of extending this hospitality by serving in one or more of the following ways:
  • Greeter - Welcoming at one of the entrance doors or the Welcome Center
  • Usher - Handing out bulletins and seating people
  • Communion Server - Serving the bread and cup to worshipers and assisting with the candle lighting
  • Communion Steward - Setting up and/or cleaning up communion
We need a total of 14 Greeters, 13 Ushers, 12 Communion Servers, and 2 Communion Stewards for each of the four services in the Worship Center, as well as a couple of each for the 11:00 service in the Chapel.  Please contact Bree or Carmen or call the church office (376-6615) to let them know how you want to serve.
Missions
Food4Kids Backpack program is asking for our help! They need to prepare backpacks with food for 1,000 kids to cover the 2 week Christmas vacation. Please bring nonperishable food items with you to worship on Sunday and we will get it to them. Thank you for your generosity!

We are taking a mission team to Cuba to visit the mission houses around Cienfuegos and meeting the missionaries, as well as our sister church. The trip will be May 3 - 10 and is $1,500/person which includes visas, airfare, room, board, transportation and activities. Due to filing with the Cuban government for religious visas, the deadline to sign up is January 10. Please contact John Newsom (352-258-6383) for more information.
