Worship: Sundays @ 8:15, 9:40, 11:00 am | Wednesdays @ 6:35 pm
Teach Me To Pray
When the disciples asked Jesus how to pray, he gave them a model that is still used weekly in worship today in churches around the world. Taking a closer look at the content of the Lord's Prayer, we can all gain new insight on what Jesus was trying to teach them (and us) and how we can all go deeper in our prayer life. Join us for this message series during the month of February.
This Sunday's message is "Forgive Us...as We Forgive," by Rev. Catherine Fluck Price.
Trusting God Farther Than You Can See God
As we travel through life, there are inevitably times when we will find ourselves having to 'trust God farther than we can see God.' On Wednesdays through February 27, we will explore how various folks from the Old Testament (like Noah, Moses, Joshua, David, Isaiah, and Abraham) were challenged to trust God in different ways as they sought to live into the call God had placed on their lives and how their example can be an inspiration for us in our spiritual journey today.

This Wednesday's message will be "When the Heat is On," by Rev. Lenora Rousseau.
Mission Box
This week's mission box supports Trinity's Faith Mission ministry, including our adult and family focus areas and the many meals, events, and outreach of the Hospitality Team.  Located at 3701 NE 15th St., Faith Mission is a place of grace, love, and hope.  We serve with adults and families in our neighborhood in a variety of ways - like the Women-to-Women luncheon group, our Financial Empowerment initiatives, and our Hospitality Team. (text to give: faith)
Wednesday Night Dinners
Join us for food, fun & fellowship. This week's menu is roast beef, mixed vegetables, mashed potatoes, dinner rolls, salad, soup, and red velvet cakes.  Dairy and gluten free options are available. Adult meals are $ 7, children 6 and up are  $3, 0-5 eat free with a  $25  family cap.
It takes a lot of hands to make this weekly fellowship successful. If you are able to assist the kitchen in any way please contact Chris Riggs.
The Ripple Effect
Steve is currently in Rwanda with ZOE, an organization we are partnering with (see more below). Click here to follow along with him on his blog as he shares stories and photos.
ZOE's vision is to see a world where all orphans and vulnerable children become secure, healthy, connected, and able to care for themselves and their siblings. They are motivated by the Biblical call for Christians to help one another. ZOE reaches out in love to all vulnerable children and those wishing to partner with them, regardless of their beliefs, so they may experience the love of God with physical, social, psychological, and spiritual healing. You can find out more about ZOE here.
Staffing Updates
Laura Richardson's Departure
After being a part of the staff team for 15 years, Laura Richardson concluded her time of employment with Trinity at the end of January. We are grateful for her service during this time and pray God's blessing on her as she moves into a new chapter. We want to invite you to express your appreciation for her time with Trinity. If you would like to write Laura a note, please drop it off at the church office before February 22, and we will deliver them all to her.
Ted Grueser Stepping Down as Director of Missions
Almost two years ago, Ted Grueser, Trinity's Director of Missions, shared with Revs. Catherine and Steve Price that he had cancer.  He indicated at that point that he had already discontinued treatment, as it was not proving to be effective. We are saddened to share that Ted has now reached the point where, due to his declining health, he has made the decision to resign from his position at the end of February.
Ted and Danette and their boys, Riley and Deklan, will continue to reside in Gainesville and be a part of Trinity as we walk alongside all of them through this.  As Ted and his family make us aware of tangible ways that we can support them, we will let you know.  In the meantime, I encourage you to be in prayer for all of them as well as the extended family.

Kelly Ping, Trinity's Coordinator of Public Relations, has been working alongside and learning from Ted since last fall as the Associate Director of Missions. She has a passion for missions and previous employment experience working for a non-profit organization.  The Staff Parish Relations Committee of Trinity has approved a plan for Kelly to begin transitioning into the role of Director of Missions beginning March 1, while we engage in a search for a Director of Communications.

Please be in prayer for Ted, Danette, Riley and Deklan, as well as the staff team and all of Trinity during this time. Please click here to read Ted's letter in his own words.

Ted and his family will continue to be a part of Trinity, but he will be stepping away from being a part of the staff team due to his health concerns.

Youth Ministries
Cross-Generational Prayer Partners: this spring the Youth Department is partnering youth & adults through prayer in a cross-generational prayer partner program. For this program to happen we need over 50 adults to commit to being a prayer partner for one of our wonderful youth from February through the end of April. This program will give both youth & adults an opportunity to intentionally pray for another person and to reach across generational lines to connect with someone else in the congregation. If you are interested in being a prayer partner please contact the Youth Staff or sign up here.
