Mission Box
This week's Mission Box is for PACE Center for Girls. PACE provides girls and young women an opportunity for a better future through education, counseling, training, and advocacy. PACE values all girls and young women, believing each one deserves an opportunity to find her voice, achieve her potential, and celebrate a life defined by responsibility, dignity, serenity, and grace. Month of Missions
Every Sunday in July we are inviting you to participate in Month of Missions , a chance to support local organizations with both financial donations as well as physical donations.  
 
This week's Month of Missions recipient, PACE Center for Girls, is requesting makeup (eye shadow, eye liner, makeup brushes, foundation in a variety of skin tones), school supplies (gel pens, binders, highlighters, erasers), putty, slime, earbuds, and snacks (multipacks of chips, cup of noodles, capri suns, Gatorade, ICE sparkling water).
 
Please place your donations in the blue bins in the Worship Center (on Sunday) or by the reception desk in the Education Building (Monday - Friday). 
It's a Welcome Party!
Join us this Sunday, July 7 as we welcome our new Associate Pastor, Ben Richards! Ben will be preaching at both the 9:30 and 11am services that morning. You won't want to miss his first day with us, as he shares about his own calling and journey into ordained ministry. Immediately following the second service, there will be a lunch to celebrate his arrival and give you an opportunity to meet him personally. 

Pricing for the lunch is $7 for adults and $3 for children (0-5 years old is free) with a family cap of $25. Reservations are not required, but if you want to let us know you're coming in order to help us with a head count, please contact Amy at 416-3005. The menu is baked ziti, beef meatballs, caesar salad, garlic bread, drinks, and dessert.
July 4
Trinity will be closed on July 4 and will close at 1pm on July 5 in observance of Independence Day.
Part-time Childcare Coordinator:    Responsibilities include supervising a team of childcare staff, overseeing childcare during the week, and a weekly presence on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings.  To apply, please send your application, cover letter, and resume to Elizabeth Jones.

9:30 Accompanist (Piano/Keyboard):
Trinity is currently seeking an accompanist for the 9:30 service. Responsibilities include attending weekly worship band rehearsals and participating in weekly 9:30 services throughout the year. The best applicants will be proficient at reading chord charts and learning new music quickly, eager to serve in a team environment, and desire an opportunity to use their musical gifts in a worship setting. We are looking for a part-time Worship Arts Assistant. They are responsible for supporting the Director of Worship Arts and the worship arts team. Applicants should submit their application, resume, and cover letter to Alice Wallis.
Caring & Support
Are you grieving the death of a spouse or do you know someone who is? Trinity will hold a one night, stand-alone session for those who have lost a spouse. This session will help you process your grief and offer suggestions on how to face your future with a measure of hope. The session will consist of discussion, handouts, and a video. We will meet on July 17 from 6:45 - 8:45pm in room E225. For questions call Lynn Cunningham at 352-372-1027.
 
The Widows/Widowers Support Group will meet July 2 at 5:30pm at Northwest Grille (5115 NW 39th Avenue).

Spring & Summer Missions Study
Join us for our "No-Reading-Required" Spring & Summer Missions Study! Like TED Talks? Interested in learning how lives are being transformed through mission but too busy to read right now? Well we have a study series for you! On the 1st Sunday of each month over the summer we'll look at impactful and transformational mission from a variety of perspectives. Each session will include a SATTalks video (like TED Talks) followed by discussion co-led by Ward, Kelly, and Meghan. Join us for 1 session or all 4, whatever your time permits!

Children & Family Ministries  
Upward Soccer Registration is now open! Evaluations will be held at the Trinity Sports fields on July 8, July 17, and August 4. Practice begins the week of August 19 and the first game is on September 9. Please click here for specific evaluation times and more details.
 
Crosstrainers After-School Sports Experience is an action packed sports experience that is full of exercise and energy for kids in 1st through 5th grades. We play and teach fundamentals for basic sports and large group games. On Wednesday, we'll combine the action of Crosstrainers with the excitement of CHEERS for CHEERSplus.  Options: Crosstrainers is offered for full or half sessions and Tuesdays and/or Thursdays. Session A runs August 13 - October 1 and Session B is October 3 - November 21.  
 
Cheersplus: We are so excited to announce CHEERSplus on Wednesdays, August 14 - November 20 from 1 - 5pm. CHEERSplus is a midweek program for children 1st grade - 5th grade. It will be a combination of the action of Crosstrainers with the excitement of CHEERS (music, crafts, science activities and MORE!). Regular CHEERS for grades Kindergarten - 5th will still continue from 3:30-5:00.

Lights for Liberty
On July 12 at 7:30pm, Lights for Liberty: A Vigil to End Human Detention Camps will bring thousands of Americans to detention camps across the country, into the streets, and onto their own front yards to protest the inhumane conditions faced by refugees. These conditions violate the fundamental Christian principle of honoring the sacred worth of all humanity. There will be a local gathering at City Hall, if you would like to attend or for more information, contact Jeanell Fairless (352-562-2276). This week's altar flowers are given in loving memory of Dr. Ed Kissam from BJ Summerlin on the occasion of what would have been his 94th birthday. Ed passed away on May 30th of this year, and he will be greatly missed.
