Trinity UMC Foundation Update
Last Tuesday, May 8, members of the Trinity family gathered for a luncheon to celebrate the work of the Trinity UMC Foundation. The Foundation was established for the purpose of assuring God's vision through Trinity today, tomorrow, and forever. Anyone can participate in this work through current gifts of cash or other investments to one of several endowment funds and also through including the church in their estate planning. Here's a great video that shares one couple's story and also gives you an example of how endowment gifts are already making an impact in the life and ministry of the church.

Some members include Trinity through a bequest in their Will, or through a revocable trust, or as a beneficiary of an IRA or other qualified plan. Others have named Trinity as beneficiary of a life insurance policy or a charitable gift annuity. Members of the Legacy Society, composed of all persons who have left a legacy gift for Trinity in one of these ways, were recognized at the luncheon. To learn more about any of these opportunities, please contact the chairperson of the Foundation Board, Bill Burger

Mission Box
This week's Mission Box is for the Annual Conference Bishop's Offering. The Bishop's Offering for Annual Conference 2018 will be divided evenly between ZOE and funding for training laity and clergy in innovative forms of evangelism. Building on a foundation of indigenous staff, community leaders, and local resources, ZOE empowers orphans and vulnerable children to become entrepreneurs who are socially, economically, and spiritually strong, while transforming entire communities in the process.
