Staffing Updates
We are excited to let you know that McCall Griggs has been promoted to become our new Director of Stepping Stones. Please congratulate her when you see her! Here's a little more about McCall (in her own words) to get to know her a little better.

I am originally from Athens, GA but have lived in Gainesville for the last 22 years. My husband and I are blessed with three amazing children: Kade (9), Kenzie (9), and Holden (3). We love living in Gainesville and enjoy boating, fishing, swimming, and exploring outdoors.

I have been a happy member of the Trinity team for ten years now, serving in many ways over the years, and look forward to growing in my new position as the Director of Stepping Stones. My Bachelors is in Early Childhood Education and I am passionate about working with children and families in ministry. I love learning and  know that this role will provide me with many opportunities for growth.

We are also so happy to welcome Anne Dale, who will be joining us as the new Assistant Director of Stepping Stones. She is very excited to join the team, as you can see from her introduction below. We hope you will join us in welcoming her!

I was born and raised in Homestead, FL and moved to Gainesville 22 years ago when my husband took a job with the Gainesville Police Department (where he still works today). In addition to my husband, I have two children, Austin, who is 21 and Mallory, who is 19.....and two kitties, Paisley and Gabi. I love to read, anywhere near the ocean is my "happy place" and I love a good antique/thrift store!

I am coming to Trinity from the School Board of Alachua County. In my 12 years there, I worked with all ages, however the last four have been in a Preschool- Special Education classroom. It was there I discovered my love of Early Childhood Education. I feel honored, blessed and excited to be joining the Trinity family.

The Return of the Prodigal Son: "The Parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15: 11-32) is a biblical parable that nearly everyone can relate to. During this book discussion we will be reading Henri Nouwen's book, The Return of the Prodigal Son, which explores a variety of spiritual themes all pointing to one question: "Where has my struggle led me?" This book takes readers on a detailed journey through three parts diving into each of the three main characters of the parable: the younger son, the elder son, and the father. In the book, Nouwen reflects on his own life experiences as they relate to the parable, and in the class, participants will be encouraged to do the same. Henri Nouwen was inspired to write this book after experiencing Rembrandt's famous painting Prodigal Son, which hangs in St. Petersburg, Russia, and the painting serves as a way for readers to visualize many of the parable's themes. Please come prepared to discuss the intersection between scripture, life, and art! Register here
