First: A Stewardship Update
THANK YOU to everyone who has made a pledge to support the ministries of Trinity in 2020. The results so far continue to be very encouraging! As of this morning, 234 pledges have been made totaling $1,392,499. Included are 26 new pledging households and 106 households that have increased their pledge from 2019! Also, 23 households have taken the 1st and 10 Challenge.
 
You can make your pledge for 2020 by going here. Keep helping to move us toward reaching the 2020 pledge goal of $2,030,000. What level of commitment would represent both a joyful response and a new step in faith for you?
Sunday Worship 
This weekend it's Gator Wesley Sunday! Gator Wesley, the United Methodist Campus Ministry at the University of Florida & Santa Fe College, will be leading us in worship at all 3 services. Join us for a snapshot of what God is doing in and through the college students in our Gainesville community!

The Order of St. Luke will be holding its monthly Healing Service in the Chapel this Sunday, November 10 at 11:00 am. Rev. Ben Richards will be giving a short teaching. All are welcome to attend for praise and worship, group and individual prayer time, and The Lord's Supper. For more information, contact Linda Buth.
Wednesday Worship
At this week's Acoustic Service, Rev. Ben Richards will be continuing the series, The Story of Two Sons and their Father, with a message called, "The Elder Son" (Luke 15:11-32).
Wednesday Night Dinners
Join us for food, fun, and fellowship! The menu for November 6 is Baked Pork Loin, Brown Sugar Ham, Cranberry Dressing, Squash and Corn Saute, Green Beans, Soup, Salad, and Dessert. The kitchen is open 5:00 - 6:30 pm, and dairy and gluten-free options are available. Adult meals are $ 7, children 6 and up are $ 3, and 0-5 eat free, with a $ 25 family cap.

It takes a lot of hands to make this weekly fellowship successful. If you are able to assist the kitchen in any way, contact  Chris Riggs .
Mission Box
This week's Mission Box supports Gator Wesley, the United Methodist Campus Ministry at the University of Florida and Santa Fe College. One of Gator Wesley's ministry highlights is Act Justly, a social justice ministry focusing on environmental justice, immigration justice, mass incarceration justice, and justice for the LGBTQ+ community. Thanksgiving Pie Sale
The Youth are selling frozen homemade pumpkin and apple crumble pies with instructions on thawing and baking for when you're ready to serve them.  You can pick up an order envelope at the Welcome Table in the Worship Center or by the youth fundraiser box at the Reception Desk in the Education Building. Please submit your orders to the Youth & Family Ministries Office or at the Reception Desk of the Education Building by November 17. You can also order online here Orders will be available for pick-up November 24 in front of the Worship Center after every Worship Service.  Prices : 1 pie is $15. For 3 or more pies, it's $12 per pie! 
Fall Trinity Yard Sale
The Fall Trinity Yard Sale will be on November 16 from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm in the Worship Center parking lot.  For sellers:  $25  for 2 tables, no reservations needed.  For buyers: come find some new treasures!  The Yard Sale is hosted by The Bridge Youth Ministry! Missions
Giving Sundays: Each Sunday through November 17, we are asking our church family to bring in different items for our annual Thanksgiving Baskets program, and t his Sunday's items are Stuffing and Gravy Packets.  You can drop them off in the blue bins in the Narthex or the Education Building.  

2020 is the 20th Anniversary of the Spring Break Youth Medical Mission (SBYMM) trip to Guatemala! If you are a middle* or high-school student or adult who would like to participate, click here for more informationThe trip is from March 21-29, 2020 and costs $1,000 all-inclusive.  (*Middle-school students must have a parent attend with them.) If you'd like to contribute to the trip financially, you can do that here.
Faith Mission
Cost of Poverty Experience: Are you a person who has a heart for helping the poor and would like to build empathy through a workshop that helps participants get an idea of what it feels like to be in need? If that's you, consider being part of the Cost of Poverty Experience at Faith Mission THIS Saturday, November 9 from 8:45 am - 12:30 pm! There is no cost to attend, and there are only 10-12 spaces left.
Children & Family Ministries
Parent's Night Out is THIS Friday, November 8  from 5:30 - 8:30 pm! Join us for a pizza dinner, crafts, and themed activities. This is for children ages 12 months and walking through 5th grade. $ 10 per child, cost includes activities. Pizza dinner is available for $4 each, or you may bring your own dinner.   Please register and pay online by Wednesday, November 6. For more information, contact Angela Dennis.

Save the Date: the Family Christmas Advent Festival featuring Christmas Crafts will be on  Wednesday, December 4 from 5:30 - 7:15 pm. It's a special evening of good food, crafts, caroling, and decorating Christmas trees! More information coming soon.
The Bridge Youth Ministries
The Well:  The Well is our Sunday Night Gathering for  6th - 12th graders from 5:30 - 7:30 pm and includes dinner, games, a lesson, discussion, and  worship.
  • This Sunday (November 10) is Youthsgiving & Volunteer Appreciation, where will celebrate Thanksgiving as a youth group with a potluck dinner! The Youth Department will provide a turkey while everyone else is asked to bring a side dish or dessert to contribute to the meal. We have also invited everyone who has volunteered with our ministry in the last year so that we can appreciate them in style!
Adult Ministries
Contemplative Service: Our first Contemplative Service in the Chapel will be on Friday, November 15 at 7:00 pm (childcare is available during the service). Please come and join us for this time of prayer, meditation, quiet music, and Holy Communion. For more information, contact Jim Cook.

Exercise Class to Support Aging Gracefully: For anyone wanting to stay active while aging, this class combines yoga, stretching, strength-building, and balance exercises both on a mat and standing. All you need to bring is a water bottle, a yoga mat, and a positive attitude (no cost or registration necessary)! Meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm in the Youth Building.
