Mission Box
This week's Mission Box supports Gator Wesley, the United Methodist Campus Ministry serving the college campuses of the University of Florida and Santa Fe College. It is their mission to offer God's radical love to every student in Gainesville and to form a community of disciples grounded in Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.  They also have a vision to see students boldly committed to following Jesus and characterized by their living out of the Gospel in every aspect of their lives, passionate worship, holiness of heart and life, and courageous witness in the world through evangelism and mission bringing God's kingdom to earth (text 2 give keyword: gator).   
Wednesday Night Dinners
Join us for food, fun & fellowship! This week's menu is roast pork, cilantro rice, black beans, plantains, soup, salad, and dessert. Dairy and gluten free options are available. The kitchen will be open from 5 - 6:30pm. Adult meals are $ 7 , children 6 and up are $ 3 , 0-5 eat free with a $25  family cap.

Thanksgiving Pie Fundraiser
Support Sonlight and Youth by buying a homemade apple or pumpkin pie! All pies will come frozen with thawing and baking instructions. 1 Pie is $ 15, 2 Pies for $ 25, and 3 or more Pies are only $12  each.  All orders must be in by November 11. Thanksgiving Baskets
Thanksgiving is coming upon us quickly, which means our annual Thanksgiving Basket outreach is wrapping up, it's the last week to donate!

 

This Sunday's donation item is 10-12lb Turkeys. 

Holiday Invitation
First United Methodist Church has invited our congregation to join them for a holiday shopping and family fun event. All proceeds go towards First UMC's missions and ministries. This year's Holiday Marketplace will feature 12 shops, bounce-house / inflatable slide, magician, face painting, balloon art, music, silly photos, photos with Santa and Ms. Claus, breakfast, and lunch.  November 10 from 8am to 3pm at First UMC (419 NE 1st St.). Children's Ministry 
No school? No problem! Come join the fun at Trinity's Day Camp on November 19 and 20 from 8:30am-12:30pm. 3 years old (by Sept. 1, 2018) through 5th grade are eligible to participate. Cost is $20 per child/day (includes snacks and supplies). Note: K-5th grades will primarily be outside. Pre-registration is required and space is limited!

Come "Gobble up some fun" at our next Parent's Night Out on November 9 from 5:30-8:30pm. Our themed Parent's Night Out will be a fabulous night of dinner and Thanksgiving activities for all ages, 12 months and walking through 5th grade!  Cost is $12 per child with a $30 cap per family.  Register by November 7.

Family Advent Festival: On November 28 from 5:30-7:15pm, join us for a special evening of dinner, crafts, caroling, Chrismons, and cookies! Reserve your dinner tickets by November 26 for the family friendly dinner of brown-sugar baked ham, macaroni and cheese, sautéed green beans, cinnamon apples, garden salad, dinner rolls, and sugar cookies (0-4-Free; Children: $3; Adults: $5; Family Cap: $16). No reservations are needed for the rest of the evening. 
Caring & Support
The Widows and Widowers support group meets November 6 at 5:30pm at NW Grille (5115 NW 39th Ave).

The Healing Prayer service, sponsored by the Order of St. Luke, will be held November 11 at 11am in the Chapel.

The Healing Touch Cancer support group will meet on November 15 at 5:30pm in the O. Dean Martin Prayer Room. We will be discussing "Celebrating the Christmas Season with Faith and Hope." For more info, call Marcey at 331-2960 or Margie at 386-462-9592.
Trinity | Youth
Middle School Funday | On November 10 from 12-3pm all middle schoolers are invited to Funworks for go karts, golf, and skating! Sign up by emailing Youth Ministry and bring $20 to cover the fun! 

UMYF |From November 11-December 2 the youth will be participating in a lesson series where Rebekah, Audrey, Jesse, and Keven will share about who they are, who God is calling them to be, and who God is calling us all to be. All 6th-12th graders are invited for dinner (bring $3), games, a lesson, small group time, and worship.
 
Missions
Are you looking for something to do over Spring Break? The annual Spring Break Youth Medical Mission trip is heading back to Guatemala again with Missionary Ventures, March 31 - April 6. If you want to find out more about this great opportunity, come to a planning meeting on November 8 at 7pm in room 222.
Adult Ministries
Have you or someone you know lost a loved one and is now facing the holiday season with a heavy heart? There is help!  Trinity will host a GriefShare session called "Surviving the Holidays" to help you through the coming days.  We will share tools that will enable you not only to survive the coming holidays, but also to face them with a measure of peace and assurance.  This session will be held on November 14 from 6:45 - 8:45pm in room 225.  There is no need to register.  Just come!
 
This Thursday's session of  "The Battle Belongs to The Lord," is cancelled. They will resume class next week, November 15 at 7pm.
Christian love and sympathy is extended
to Nancy Bibbo and family on the passing of her mother, Ethel Cooper, on October 31;

and to Everett Phillips, Darcy Pigliacampi, Calista Phillips, and Shirley Holstein on the passing of their mother, Shirley Waterman, on November 1.
