This weekend, Rev. Catherine Fluck Price will be continuing our series, First: Putting God First in Living and Giving with a message called, "Be Faithful, Save, and Give" at our Sunday Worship Services.

Wednesday Worship
At this week's Wednesday 6:35 pm Acoustic Service, Special Guest Speaker Elise Caton will be sharing a message entitled, "House of Spirits" out of Luke 11:24-26.
Wednesday Night Dinners
Join us for food, fun, and fellowship!  The menu for October 16 is  Mushroom Port Pork Loin,  Potatoes,  Green Beans,  Biscuits,  Soup, Salad, and Dessert Dairy and gluten free options are available. The kitchen is open from 5:00 - 6:30 pm. Adult meals are $7, children 6 and up are $3, and 0-5 eat free, with a $25 family cap.
 
It takes a lot of hands to make this weekly fellowship successful. If you are able to assist the kitchen in any way, contact  Chris Riggs.
Mission Box
This week's Mission Box will go to support our annual Fall Harvest festival, a tremendous community outreach! Gifts to the Mission Box will help to cover the cost of activity rentals and lawn treatments. Besides financial gifts, we also need gifts of time and hospitality, so if you are able to donate one hour of your evening to help greet, face paint, or host a trunk, please sign up below!

Fall Harvest
Fall Harvest is coming up on October 27 from 3:30 - 6:30 pm. Please invite anyone you know who has children that might enjoy this event! We are also asking our church family to contribute in 3 ways:
  • Presence: Helping with the activities on the campus. (Sign Up Here)
  • Trunks: We are aiming for a total of 30 trunks for the Trunk or Treat! (Sign Up Here)
  • Candy: Our goal is 30,000 pieces of candy for the Trunk or Treat! (Please bring donations to the Children & Family Ministries Office in Room 108 of the Education Building).
(If you're coming with kids to enjoy the event, there is a suggested donation of $1 to contribute to our Thanksgiving Basket ministry.)
Missions
On Saturday, October 26 from 8:30 am - 1:30 pm, we are having a work day with Rebuilding Together North Central Florida (RTNCF), a home-repair organization that addresses substandard housing needs in our area. Volunteers must be at least 14 years old and have finished 8th grade to participate, and no construction experience is necessary. The home is located in Alachua, FL (to protect the privacy of the family, we provide the address after sign-up), and there are projects for people with diverse skill levels and interests. We are having a special 20-Year Anniversary Trip for the Spring Break Youth Medical Mission (SBYMM) trip to Guatemala! If you are a middle* or high-school student or adult who would like to participate, there will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, October 16 at 7:00 pm. The trip is from March 21-29, 2020 and costs $1,000 all-inclusive.  (*Middle-School Students must have a parent attend with them.) For more information,  click here!

Giving Sundays: Each Sunday between October 20 and November 17, we are asking our church family to bring in different items for our annual Thanksgiving Baskets ministry. If you would like to participate in this tradition of ours, t his Sunday's items are  canned corn  and  green beans  (which are  Buy-One-Get-One-Free at Publix  this week), and you can drop them off in the blue bins in the Narthex or the Education Building!
Children & Family
Upward Basketball: Registration is open now for boys and girls in Kindergarten through 8th Grade!  Practice starts the week of November 11, and the first games will be  December 6. Evaluations will be held at Westside Baptist Church, and the final date for evaluations is  Saturday, October 19 between 9:00 - 11:00 am.
Creation Care Meeting
The Creation Care Task Force, part of the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church, helps churches respond to critical stresses on the environment by linking faith with actions that promote stewardship of God's Creation. The Creation Care Ministry at Trinity is holding its next meeting on Thursday, October 24 at 5:30 pm in Room 209 of the Education Building.
Adult Ministries
United Methodist Women (UMW) Mission Study: UMW is holding a missions study called, "Women United For Change: 150 Years in Mission" on  Tuesday, October 22 from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm in Room 232 of the Education Building. Come and join us in learning together about women who changed the world for the better!
Caring & Support
The Healing Touch Cancer Support Group will meet Thursday, October 17 at 5:30 pm in Room 204 of the Education Building.  Counselor and cancer survivor Debra Pelosi will share her personal story entitled, "A Cancer Journey and Beyond."  For more information, call Marcey (352-331-2960) or Margie (386-462-9592).
Estate Planning Seminar
The Trinity Foundation will be holding an Estate Planning Seminar on Thursday, October 24 at 7:00 pm in Room 232 of the Education Building.
