Worship: Sundays @ 8:15, 9:40, 11:00 am | Wednesdays @ 6:35 pm
Does the Bible Really Say That?
"God has a plan for your life." "God doesn't give you more than you can handle."  These are simple statements that may capture in part what the Bible has to say, but they also miss the point in some important ways.  That's why it's important to understand what the Bible really says.  Join us as we search for the truth of Scripture.

This Sunday's sermon is "God Doesn't Give Us More Than We Can Handle," by Rev. Catherine Fluck Price.

Faith Leaders' Summit on Children
You're invited to attend the Faith Leaders' Summit on Children on September 20!   Trinity will be hosting this important event for our community that will include faith leaders from around Alachua County.  There is great potential for this to be a robust discussion full of voices from many religions and backgrounds!

Many of the issues impacting children in our community today, including educational equity, early learning gaps, and poverty are ones that our faith communities can collectively have an impact in addressing. When we, as communities of faith, are aware of the issues facing our children, then we can best support them in this ever-changing world.

The Faith Leaders' Summit is designed to help inform you about the status of children in our area. The organizers have pulled together an outstanding panel of speakers that includes educational, mental health and children advocacy leaders.  In addition to the data they will be presenting, you will also have the opportunity to hear about two local initiatives that will be considered by voters this November (the Children's Trust and School Facilities)  to help support children's programming and school facilities on a countywide level.  After you hear from the panel, there will be an opportunity for you to share your thoughts and ask your own questions.
