The WRA has endorsed Judge Maria Lazar for a full six-year term on the Wisconsin Court of Appeals District II. Any court case in the state can be appealed and eventually reach a Wisconsin appellate court. Appellate courts decide a high volume of cases — many of which impact our industry, such as cases related to foreclosure, legal title, zoning and more. The GMAR has endorsed Acting Mayor Cavalier Johnson in the Milwaukee Mayoral race. The GMAR has had a positive and collaborative relationship with Mayor Johnson since he was first elected alderman in 2016. He has put forth strong initiatives to improve safety and to promote economic development. As a graduate of Bayview High School, he is fully invested in improving MPS and Milwaukee's quality of life.
