As we navigate these uncertain times, Harford Day School would like to reiterate its care and concern for all members of our school community. As recently stated in the community letter from Board Chairperson, Dr. Fred Kuhn, and Head of School, Susan Kearney:
We recognize that this crisis is having a significant financial impact on every family, business and institution. In an effort to help mitigate some of the financial pressures, the Board Finance and Executive Committees approved a 30 day extension for tuition payments.
It has been brought to our attention that the extension, noted above, may have caused confusion and/or undue anxiety for some families. Please know that while the school is dependent upon tuition revenue to operate, we are also willing to work with individual families who may be experiencing undue hardships as a result of COVID-19.
Some of you may have received invoices from Higher Education Services (HES) indicating that your first payment was due April 1st.
Please disregard these notices
as the school made the decision to extend all payment plans,
HES had begun its billing cycle.
