Dear Staten Island Academy Families,
It is hard to believe that January is over and we are about half way through another wonderful academic year at Staten Island Academy! We are already well underway preparing for next year. Our Board of Trustees met and approved the tuition and budget for the 2025-2026 academic year. This is crucial for the Academy as we are strategically planning for the future and continuing to build upon our strong program and reputation of excellence.
We take pride in the strength of our programs and continue to identify ways to grow and enhance our academics, arts and athletics, as well as sustain financial aid to ensure that children who qualify academically, have access to our outstanding Academy education.
As you know, the work is well underway for the installation of our Innovation Lab and our new 2D Art Studio. Once that work is completed, we will move downstairs to renovate our new Library and Multicultural Center. We also are exploring more and more ways to support our employees with the tools they need through professional development and program enhancements.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you would like a tour of the work that we are doing or if you would like to engage in conversation about the future work that we will be embarking on after this phase of the Reimagine Renaissance campaign. As an administration, faculty and Board of Trustees, we have been working to put forth a strategic plan and we would love to have your support in these initiatives.
In the coming weeks you will be receiving more information from the Business and the Admissions Offices when the Portal will open with your enrollment agreement and opening and closing dates for the 2025-2026 school year.
As always, we look forward to the future, let us embrace the endless possibilities and opportunities that await us. We will continue to build upon our successes, learn from our challenges and work collaboratively to ensure that Staten Island Academy remains a place of educational excellence in academics, arts and athletics all while being a supportive, innovative and inclusive school community.
Together, we will continue to foster a safe and supportive environment where students can explore their passions, develop their talents and grow as compassionate, responsible global citizens.
