June 1 - 19: Attend a virtual CAST session to register for fall courses and learn more about academic success at Tulane. Sign up for a session here.

June 4 - 15:  Request a  roommate through the  Housing Portal .

June 30 - Deadline to sign up for your dining plan (review options).

On behalf of the Office of New Student & Leadership Programs (also known as Team NSLP), welcome to Tulane and to your first Navigator e-newsletter! The Navigator will arrive in your inbox on the 1st and 15th of each month throughout the summer with information to help you prepare to join the Tulane community. Once the fall semester begins, we'll keep you informed with monthly emails to let you know what's going on around campus.
We encourage you to pay special attention to the "Dates & Deadlines" section of the Navigator. Each issue will highlight what's around the corner so you can stay on track. If you're not yet utilizing our  New Student Checklist, start today!

New Student Checklist

Make sure you're on track for a successful first semester! We have organized all the tasks, dates, and deadlines into one comprehensive checklist. A few items will be available later in the summer, so make sure to check back in June and July for updates. Most items are encouraged, while some are required. 
Stay Connected this Summer

Email : Check your Tulane email account regularly. All official University communication is done through email - if you're not checking yours, you might miss out on important info or deadlines.

Social Media: Join the Class of 2024 Facebook group to start meeting your peers. Stay in touch with NSLP by following us on Instagram ( @tulanenslp) for summer checklist and New Student Orientation updates! 
OMA Program for New Students

The Office of Multicultural Affairs is excited to welcome you to campus, and we look forward to  connecting with all students through our programs next fall. We offer a number of leadership opportunities like the Community Engagement Advocates, our Ambassador Program, The Multicultural Leadership Retreat and more. We know that the first semester of college can be a major transition, and we have two programs that may be of interest to help make the transition smoother. Please apply if you are interested. Space is limited. 

The Center for Intercultural Life Peer Mentor Program 
The goal of the Peer Mentor Program is to pair incoming first-year students with upper-class student mentors who serve as coaches, role models, advisers, guides, and a support network to facilitate transitioning into Tulane collegiate life.  Apply today!

My Sister's Keeper 
My Sister's Keeper is an intentional program focused on building community among women of color at Tulane University. In collaboration with Newcomb Institute, Student Conduct, The Office for Gender & Sexual Diversity, and The Well for Health Promotion, we have designed a cohort experience with committed staff and faculty to offer support, advice, care and community to women of color on campus.  Apply today!

The Board of Directors is an elite group of student leaders who work alongside New Student & Leadership Programs staff to plan and implement New Student Orientation and Fall Welcome. Each Director supervises a team of Wave Leaders and works hard to make sure your transition into Tulane is as smooth as possible!
