Candidate Forums
The June 28th Primaries are coming up quick! In order to inform and engage constituents LWVMT along with local community partners will be hosting a variety of candidate forums this month. 
             
City of Tulsa Mayoral Candidate Forum
Wednesday, June 15th at 6:30pm
Thomas K. McKeon Center for Creativity at TCC

OK Senate District 39 Candidate Forum
Thursday, June 9th at 6:30pm
OU Tulsa Schusterman Learning Center

Additionally, Voters' Guides will be available online at Vote411.org.
June 28 Primary Election
If you wish to participate in the June 28th Primary election, the deadline to register to vote is June 3rd!

Early voting for this election will take place Thursday, 6/23 and Friday, 6/24 from 8am-6pm and Saturday, 6/25 from 9am-2pm at both the Tulsa County Election Board AND Hardesty Regional Library.

Polls will be open from 7am-7pm on Tuesday, June 28th for regular voting. Remember to bring a photo ID with you to the polls.  If you have a question about your polling place or registration status please visit Vote411.org.  Here you will also be able to access our online Voters' Guide.

Our Unit meetings are moving right along in their studies of important issues. The Breakfast Unit will dive into a thought-
provoking article entitled "Should Everyone Vote?" 
The Midtown Unit will continue their study and discussion of LWVMT's policies and positions. The North Tulsa Unit will not be meeting during the summer months.

TYPros Candidate Meet and Greet
Tulsa Young Professionals and LWVMT is giving you the opportunity to mix and mingle with all the city, county and state reps
from the Tulsa area on June 21st. The Meet and Greet will take place  at the Arts and Humanities Council at Hardesty Arts Center (101 E. Archer Street) and will last from 5-7pm. 
Refreshments will be available.
