Two topics for study and discussion are being offered during the October, November and December Program and Unit meetings. They are Money and Politics and "Re-Entry into Society after Prison." The Madam President event is only a few short months away.  If you know a Tulsa woman who fits the description above- nominate her! We  a re looking forward to honoring some of Tulsa's top women with this event. For more details visit our Madam President site.

Have you checked out vote411.org?  Vote411 is an excellent resource for voters.  On this site you can find your polling place, register to vote, find voting information by state or by topic and you can build your ballot with the online voters' guide.  Be sure to browse the website and get informed!

  
Candidate Forum & Elections   
LWVMT will be holding a candidate forum for the upcoming elections for the vacant Senate District 34 seat that will take place in November.  The forum will be held at the Owasso Library on Monday, October 26th starting at 6pm. For m ore details look here.
