LAUNCHING A MINI-SOCIETY

Ever dreamed of turning your classroom into a bustling student-run society? Mini-Society lets your students create their own economic system, designing currency, launching businesses, and trading goods and services while connecting real-world concepts to learning. It’s hands-on, empowering, and fun!

Delaware teachers of grades 3 - 5

This session is especially perfect for Grade 3 teachers, as it directly builds on the economics taught in the Grade 3 model lessons, giving students a chance to apply what they’ve learned in a dynamic, real-world simulation.

Join Bonnie Meszaros and Amy Krzyzanowski from CEEE, along with experienced Mini-Society teacher Erin Boettcher, for a one-day summer PD session that brings economics and entrepreneurship to life.

What you’ll get:

  • A step-by-step Mini-Society Manual with lessons and support materials
  • Guidance from seasoned educators who've implemented the program
  • Practical tips on classroom setup, management, and integration with your curriculum
  • A chance to collaborate and share ideas with other 3rd–5th grade teachers
