Five teams selected as finalists in the 2023 Public Policy Challenge

Projects among the five team finalists address issues related to migration, transportation and the opioid crisis. The Public Policy Challenge invites Georgetown graduate students of all academic disciplines to develop innovative policy solutions to issues facing residents of Washington, DC.

Lydia Blandford (MPP’23) reflects on her journey to the McCourt School, the state of gender equality and the future of international development policy. Over the course of her childhood, moving around the world, Blandford came to understand the critical importance of dignity and empathy in public policy.
