Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----

The tragedy in Texas where flooding has killed over 100, many of them children from a Christian camp, first stuns us. Then we pray. This period of shock and grief is not to be rushed. This is a time to pray for all involved. In our grief He is close to us: " the LORD is close to the broken-hearted." (Psalm 34:18).

In due season, the tragedy-- a similar one is going on in the Congo--- may then bring us to a deeper walk with Christ, our only True Hope, today and eternally.

At some point there may be a time of reflection how we each need to be today in His Kingdom; no more playing church. And that can only happen through repentance, Matthew 4: 17; Acts 3:19. We see calls for prayer from key government officials. As we pray with others, to as many as will listen, you and I need to add the other aspect which works with prayer to enter His Kingdom: repentance.

As painful as it is, tragedy can produce a deeper walk with the Lord.

The Lord Himself said: "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." (John 16:33).

Our sister in Christ, Eunice in Melbourne Australia emailed: "I'm so sorry to read about the loss of life in Texas. I have no light on this tragedy. Yesterday I saw that the rain was exceptional heavy by inches and the Guadalupe River was exceedingly high. May people in your country take heed and choose the fear of God and life."

Yes Lord! Please awake MANY to take heed and choose the fear of God and life!

Distress jars us back to God. That kind of pain is a blessing: "godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death." (2 Corinthians 7:10).

The Message version has another way to say this Truth: " Distress that drives us to God does that. It turns us around. It gets us back in the way of salvation. We never regret that kind of pain. But those who let distress drive them away from God are full of regrets, end up on a deathbed of regrets."

As you have any connections with those in shock and pain for this tragedy in Texas or the Congo please pray with them with your Holy Spirit to point them to our Lord Jesus Christ. We can't let distress drive them away from God; may they all come closer to Him!

*******************************************

Even though NDR did not reach its goal by June 30 in the GIVE 12 Project-- not quite 45% was raised---a breakthrough happened! Some new donors came aboard, some current donors made new monthly commitments, and --having checked with the LORD our Provider---therefore we are extending the campaign through August. The goal is to raise nearly $70,000 to continue to support repentance-preaching ministers (whose testimonies we will continue to share), who are accomplishing major Holy Spirit-based results, bringing hundreds and hundreds each week into Jesus' Kingdom. The new name of the Project is "Invite one to One." We are praying for our current donors to witness "fruit worthy of repentance" to others, sharing why they support NDR, inviting even one other person to participate now in this work of the Lord to spread His Gift of Repentance.

Please continue to sow into this mighty move of God - and do not get weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we faint not... (Gal 6:6-9). Your donation of whatever amount the LORD places on your heart to give towards His MOVE of Repentance continues to bear fruit !

May God Bless you in abundance as you sow towards His Kingdom!
