Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, flipping your focus now to God First, beginning to cleanse as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom----
As in Moses' time, you and I are called today to turn wholly to Him: " Surely none of the men who came up from Egypt, from twenty years old and above, shall see the land of which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, because they have not wholly followed Me, except Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, the Kenizzite, and Joshua the son of Nun, for they have wholly followed the LORD." (Numbers 32:11,12; Deuteronomy 1:36)
Mixture does not please the LORD. He is a jealous God. (Exodus 20:5). He calls us to " cleanse from the filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God." (2 Corinthians 7:1). Our lives were bought with Jesus' blood; THAT makes it possible to drop old sin patterns, repenting, replacing them with His Word, thereby walking on His narrow path of Purity towards Him. Your repentance walk is then a witness to others, bringing in new disciples. Jesus said: " Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate, and difficult [confined] is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it." (Matthew 7: 13,14).
In an article from Pastor David Wilkerson in 2001 he said: " I want to hear your voice in all of this. Cause me to turn wholly to you." That quote and a prayer I posted using that phrase, prompted one of our sisters in Christ in North Carolina to make a generous gift to NDR for our repentance-preaching pastors under siege in the Congo, as well as this insight:
“I want to hear your voice in all of this. Cause me to turn wholly to you." WHOLLY. As I read and prayed through your email Pastor Jeff, this word stood out. I searched wholly in Scripture and I believe I was led to begin here:
CJB Luke 11:33 “No one who has kindled a lamp hides it or places it under a bowl; rather, he puts it on a stand, so that those coming in may see its light. 34 The lamp of your body is the eye. When you have a ‘good eye,’ [that is, when you are generous,] your whole body is full of light; but when you have an ‘evil eye,’ [when you are stingy,] your body is full of darkness. 35 So take care that the light in you is not darkness! 36 If, then, your whole body is filled with light, with no part dark, it will be wholly lighted, as when a brightly lit lamp shines on you.”
I was reminded of the first day of creation….
The earth was unformed in darkness and the Spirit of God hovered (moved, brooded, swept) over the surface of the water. God said, “Let there be light;” saw the light was good and divided it from the darkness… WHOLLY lighted!
and of the New Creation to come…
…there is no need for the sun to light the day or moon the night because the resplendent glory of the Lord provides the city with warm, beautiful light and the Lamb illumines every corner of the new Jerusalem. And all peoples of all the nations will walk by its unfailing light, and the rulers of the earth will stream into the city bringing with them the symbols of their grandeur and power.
Dear Heavenly Father, We depend on Your Word for our very lives. His name is Jesus. He tells us until Heaven and Earth disappear, not one letter or pen stroke (from Your Law) will disappear… not until everything that must happen has happened. You are the Father of the heavenly lights. You said, “Let there be light in the darkness” and this light shines in our hearts so we can know it is Your glory in the face of Jesus Christ. Please Father, keep us separated from the dark workings of the adversary and let Your light shine in our lives to consume that darkness. We see how the wicked are plotting against Your people, but Your Word says You laugh at the wicked, for You know their day is coming. Please LORD, make that day this day. I ask this and so much more in the Name of Jesus Christ who says, “I AM the light that shines through the cosmos; if you walk with Me, you will thrive in the nourishing light that gives life and you will not know darkness.” LORD, I believe one day all Your people will walk in Your unfailing light because I believe You. But today, help us to be generous with our gifts and keep us HOLY lit, first and foremost for Your glory but also for our good, we desperately need You. Amen

Pastor David's post 911 article, "We Missed the Message" concludes: " I believe our window of opportunity to respond to God's call is brief. We all should pray that our nation repents and turns back to the Lord. But our most intense prayers should be for our own hearts: "Lord, let me tremble not at your disasters, but at your Word. I want to hear your voice in all of this. Cause me to turn wholly to you."
Please join me in this prayer: " Almighty Father, in Jesus' Holy Name, I pray first of all for Your Holy Spirit comfort to all grieving from this evil murderous act. Thank You for being close to the broken-hearted. And Lord, following the Wisdom you gave Pastor Wilkerson I pray that current President Trump will become a type of Josiah, deeply reverencing and following Your Word, including Your Word in 2 Chronicles 7: 13,14 to heal a nation by Your Hand. Open his mind and heart to the positive gift of personal and national repentance, as was known to our forefathers. May this tragedy cause me and many others to turn wholly to You, Almighty God. In Jesus' Holy Name, Amen and Amen."

Galatians 6:7-10: " Be not deceived: God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to the flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting . And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."
And our sister's prayer: "But today, help us to be generous with our gifts and keep us HOLY lit, first and foremost for Your glory but also for our good, we desperately need You. Amen"
