“Spirit Bear’s Plan to End Inequality for First Nations Children”

Since Confederation, the Canadian government has provided less funding for First Nations public services undermining the ability for First Nations children, youth and families to live the lives they wish to have. This presentation describes how a growing movement of children is aiming to change that.

The University of Windsor is seeking input in its process to review the name of Sir John A. Macdonald Hall. The committee will summarize its findings and recommendations in a report to the university’s Board of Governors. The deadline for submissions is Oct. 28.

The MNO is currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic upper year Métis post-secondary students to act as Facilitators at universities and colleges throughout Ontario for the upcoming academic year. Applications are still open for the 2020/2021 year.
