Tutoring Matters
The Literacy Council's office is open!
Beginning Monday, June 1st, The Literacy Council's office
will be open.
  • Tutors will be able to make copies. If you need copies, feel free to contact us ahead of time with the copies you need. We will be happy to bring them out to your car.  Please email Joy (joy@theliteracycouncil.org), Bonnie (bonnie@theliteracycouncil.org) or Sherri (sherri@theliteracycouncil.org) with the copies you need or give the office a call at: 815-963-7323 Ext. 11.
  • Tutors are able to check out material from the learning center. You can also return the material, but we ask that you place it in a designated bin in the front of the learning center.
  • Please note - The learning center remains closed to tutoring due to lack of ability to social distance. At this time, learners and tutors are not able to tutor at The Council.
  • If you need to meet with Bonnie or Sherri, please contact us to make an appointment. Bonnie will be working remotely some days.
  • The Literacy Council's office will be using the usual guidelines for Covid-19. If you stop into the office, please wear a mask, wash your hands and use hand sanitizer and then check in at the office.
