Join us in welcoming our newest Endorsed Partner , Mike Lerman with Call A Doctor Plus, offering Teladoc Telemedicine with special pricing to TTA members.  Their goal is to give you more power to recruit, retain, and reward the best employees and contract drivers. How? By providing all your workers - full time, part-time, contract/1099, even seasonal workers - with TELADOC TELEMEDICINE. That way, everyone has unlimited, 24/7 access to prescription-writing, state-licensed physicians for every-day illnesses without appointments, waiting rooms or lost time and miles. Best of all – this plan covers everyone in their household regardless of relationship or medical coverage with no doctor visit copay. That’s right - unlimited access for free!  This can lower your group medical plan renewals by diverting claims away from your medical plan while providing a valuable service for all family members or those who opt-out or are ineligible for your medical plan (especially 1099 operators and part-timers). Through the TTA you can take advantage of this awesome members-only benefit for only $10/month/family. That’s the equivalent of a six cent-an-hour raise. Aren’t your people worth it? Your hard-working crews will love it – and you will benefit from their appreciation and loyalty.

Introductory Webinars will soon be announced. Till then, you can watch a video and check out their websites at:

THE TTA IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THE THANK A TRUCKER T-SHIRT CAMPAIGN

Truckers are so essential to everyone and truly are everyday heroes, so we wanted to create a way to support them. The TTA is launching a Thank A Trucker t-shirt campaign.

We have created 2 different shirt designs, one for the trucker themselves who would like to represent their essential role, and one for friends and family who would love to show their thanks. Each shirt design comes in multiple styles such as t-shirt, long sleeves, tank tops, etc. and have several different colors provided for each. We even have youth sizes for the kiddos who would like to thank their favorite truck driver!

A special thanks to Holly Czuba, Cumberland International Trucks, Inc. for helping with the designs.

We’re really excited about how our driver t-shirts have taken off. Thanks to all that have purchased a t-shirt!! A special thanks to Great West, JD Metals and M & W Transportation , who have collectively purchased 192 t-shirts in bulk. Make your selections now and get your orders in to use at your company meetings and driver appreciations. Let’s keep up the attention on appreciation of drivers in Tennessee!

You can click the links below to purchase either shirt design.

June 3, 2020 (Shelbyville, Tenn.) —The fifth annual Big G Motorcycle Ride benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital was a roaring success with the Shelbyville-based carrier’s riders and supporters raising $25,000, which was $15,000 more than their goal this year.
Starting in Mt. Juliet, Tenn., kickstands went up at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, May 30, sending the 148 registered motorcycle riders approximately 75 miles to Monteagle, Tenn. where the fundraiser auction was held at Jim Oliver’s Smokehouse Restaurant.

Truckers move fast. Formalities disappear when communication is hurried. In the rush, sometimes we forget to see each other as people.
As someone's mom or dad. As someone's son or daughter, grandma or grandpa.
As the son of a trucker, and now trucking industry guru, Dan Baker has both, personal and professional, experience with the phenomenon. And knows just how to fix it.
Thursday, June 18, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. CT - Dan Baker joins Infinit-I Workforce Solutions for an exceptional webinar focused on reconnecting your workforce to form a real team.

FOUNDATION NEWS
# Thank A Trucker
As professional truck drivers continue to deliver America's goods during the coronavirus pandemic, the American Trucking Associations, along with the generous support of sponsors OneBeacon, U.S. Bank, Hydro-Chem Systems and Michelin have launched the #ThankATrucker - Providing for the Frontlines campaign. This new campaign is intended to provide relief to the hard-working men and women behind the wheel. This campaign will:
Continue to provide hand sanitizer stations along major freight corridors in order for professional truck drivers on the front lines to fill up their own personal bottles;
Encourage professional drivers, as a part of a contest, to submit a fun photo of themselves with their rig. Once submitted, they will automatically be entered into a drawing to win a $25 electronic gift card for a meal of their choice while on the road. Multiple winners will be selected daily.

HOW TO ENTER
All CDL holders are eligible to submit a fun or cool photo of themselves and their rig. Once you have submitted your photo(s), you will be entered into a drawing to win a $25 electronic gift card that we hope will allow all winners to enjoy a meal of their choice while on the road. Multiple winners will be chosen daily. You will be notified by [email protected] if you are chosen as a winner and the email will include an electronic gift card in the amount of $25. Please click here for  full eligibility rules  and ATA's  Privacy Policy

Three of our Tennessee Road Team Captains, who are now ATA America’s Road Team Captains, have sent us their winning pictures to share.
