2025 Baronius Lecture

Thank you to Sr. Kathleen Dietz, FSO and all those who attended last Thursday's lecture.

Youth Altar Server Training for Both Parishes

Fr. Mark Paul will hold a training for young people interested in serving as Youth Altar Servers. Current altar servers who would like a refresher should also attend the training on Sunday, October 26 after the 11:15am Mass at St. Boniface. Youth Altar Servers contribute to the beauty of our worship and engage their faith in action. Altar servers volunteer as often as they like and their schedules allow. They must have completed their First Communion and be in 4th grade or older. If your child is interested but cannot make this training, please email Coleen at coleen.mcgrath@gmail.com for Assumption, or Marcela at marcelah@aol.com for St. Boniface.

The Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed

During the month of November, it is a long and venerable Catholic tradition to remember and pray for our beloved dead at Mass and in other prayers and rituals. You may write the names of the deceased members of your family and friends in the “Book of the Dead” that will be placed in each church or by emailing the names to info@oratorychurch.org. If you send in names for the All Souls Novena of Masses, these will be automatically placed in these books. You are also invited to bring a photo of a loved one to place on St. Joseph’s altar at Assumption or the bulletin board in the narthex at St. Boniface.

Mass Intentions

It has been a long tradition in the Church to offer Masses for people to pray, especially for the dead, seeking God’s grace, mercy, and spiritual benefits through Christ’s sacrifice. Usually a modest donation is given for this. In the coming weeks we have several Masses with no particular intentions. If you would like to have a Mass offered for someone (living or deceased), email the parish office at info@oratorychurch.org or click here.
