Youth Altar Server Training for both Parishes

Fr. Mark Paul will hold a training for young people interested in serving as Youth Altar Servers. Youth Altar Servers contribute to the beauty of our worship and engage their faith in action. Altar servers volunteer as often as they like and their schedules allow. They must have completed their First Communion and be in 4th grade or older. If your child is interested but cannot make this training, please email Coleen coleen.mcgrath@gmail.com, for ABVM or Marcela marcelah@aol.com, for St. Boniface.

“Click the link in the Link?” Say What?

We appreciate the words of St. John Henry Newman, "I am a link in a chain, a bond of connection between persons," as the inspiration behind the name of our e-newsletter, The Link. However, a "link" has a specific significance in the online world, making it an awkward choice for an online newsletter. Therefore, it is time to retire it as the name of our e-newsletter. Do you have a way with words? Put your creativity to the test, and help us rename our newsletter! We're looking for a fresh, catchy, and engaging name that reflects the spirit of our parishes. If your idea is chosen, in addition to getting bragging rights, you will also receive an Oratorian-themed prize." Enter your ideas here: https://forms.gle/Q52SbyQv1S5PQVsi7

Praying for the Dead

During the month of November, it is a long and venerable Catholic tradition to remember and pray for our beloved dead at Mass and in other prayers and rituals.

You may write the names of the deceased members of your family and friends in the “Book of the Dead” that will be placed in each church or by emailing the names to info@oratorychurch.org. If you send in names for the All Souls Novena of Masses, these will be automatically placed in these books. You are also invited to bring a photo of a loved one to place on St. Joseph’s altar at Assumption or the bulletin board in the narthex at St. Boniface.
