Respect Life Ministry and Fr. Dan invite everyone to join in prayer on September 9th at 4:30pm at St. Julian Eymard Church as part of the National Day of Remembrance for the Unborn. The Chosen Season 3 Catholic Commentary

Catholic Commentary on The Chosen helps Catholics engage with the immensely popular TV series depicting the life of Christ. Using the fullness of the faith and authentic Catholic imagination, Dr. Michael Barber and Dr. Scott Hefelfinger help Catholics approach Scripture, creative license, and more in The Chosen.

Meet Thursdays from September 21st to November 16th in the Annex at St. Julian Eymard Church or over Zoom. Season 3 episodes will be available to view at 6pm, and the Commentary videos and discussion will follow from 7pm to 8:30/9pm. Please contact the parish office to join this study (847) 979-0901.

Is God Calling YOU?

Lighten your burden by letting them bear it with you!” (Exodus 18:22)

Have you ever found yourself thinking, "Fr. Dan should do this," or wondering, "Why isn't our parish doing that"? If so, we invite you to prayerfully consider joining the Parish Council. Not merely a "yes" body or "rubber stamp" for Fr. Dan's ideas, this important body plays an essential role in shaping the path of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish. Parish Council acts as a bridge between parishioners and pastoral leadership.

Nominations are due to the parish office this Friday, September 1, 2023. To discover more about the position and nomination/selection process, follow this link to download the flyer and application.

Note: No application required for Ministry Liaisons!

Eucharistic Adoration. “Jesus has made Himself the Bread of Life to give us life. Night and day, He is there. If you really want to grow in love, come back to the Eucharist, come back to that Adoration.” – St. Teresa of Calcutta

In addition to our First Friday devotion, don't forget that we have opportunity for Eucharistic Adoration every week. Adoration begins at the conclusion of the 8:15am daily Mass:

  • Wednesdays at St. Julian Eymard Church, until approximately 8:00pm when Reconciliation concludes.
  • Saturdays at Queen of the Rosary Church, until approximately 1:00pm when Reconciliation concludes.

We'd love to hear from you...if you incorporate a Prayer and Devotional resource or idea into your faith life, tell us about it!
