RCIA Begins in January 2025


RCIA (The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) is the journey towards the sacraments and full initiation into the Catholic Church for adults. It is for those who have not been baptized or have not received any sacraments, for those who were baptized in another Christian faith but who desire to become Catholic, as well as for those who were baptized Catholic but who have not yet received their First Communion and/or Confirmation.  


The process will begin in January 2025 and includes classes to learn about our Catholic faith and what it means to live as a Catholic.

Parish Office Closed

Wednesday, October 2


The front office staff will be attending an Administrative Staff Retreat. For those who have scheduled appointments with other Saint William staff on this day, please contact the staff member directly to make arrangements or for any questions. The office will reopen on Thursday, October 3.

Blessing of Vehicles

October 2 after 12:15 Mass


A blessing of vehicles is scheduled on Wednesday, October 2, immediately following the 12:15 daily Mass in the circle drive on the side of the Church.

Blessing of Pets

October 5 at 9 am


A blessing of pets will take place on Saturday, October 5, at 9 am near the Stations of the Cross. Please have your pets on a leash or in a pet carrier. We invite you to arrive a few minutes early.

Unity Rosary

October 5, 7 pm


This multicultural event will begin by joining together in praying the Holy Rosary in various languages. It’s an opportunity to learn how different cultures, represented within our parish community, honor our blessed Mother.   A reception will immediately follow in the Parish Hall.

First Friday Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary

October 4


Saint William’s First Friday Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary. The devotion begins with the Friday 12:15 pm Mass. After Mass, Father processes with the Eucharist to the Sacred Heart Chapel where there will be Eucharistic Adoration until 8:30 am Saturday morning. The devotion ends with the 8:30 am Mass on Saturday. 

First Friday Family Adoration

October 4, 5 pm - 6 pm (Sacred Heart Chapel)


The whole family from littles to teens are welcome to come and go to best meet the needs of their families. Quiet whispering as you assist your child with prayer is welcome. The Children’s Adoration Ministry will provide resources such as: Prayer Materials, Self-Guided Prayer Experiences, Prayer Manipulatives, and books for littles to teens— or bring your own.

Healing Mass & Holy Hour

Are you needing healing in your life?  Come join us for Mass with Fr. Charlie, our priests and deacons who will be praying for those needing healing. We look forward to seeing you all.


Ethics & Integrity in Ministry at St. William

Wednesday, October 9, 6 pm (Spanish)

Saturday, October 12, 9 am (English)


The Virtus workshop teaches participants about boundaries, warning signs, and appropriate interactions with minors and vulnerable adults. Similarly, instructions about how to respond to incidents, and discussions on diocesan ethical policies are included. Registration is required prior to attending.

The Guadalupanas invite the St. William community to join them for an upcoming breakfast in the Parish Hall (Bldg. 3). Debit/credit cards are accepted. 

Mother-Daughter Retreat

October 5, 9 am to 2 pm, Parish Hall


We invite all mothers and their 13 - 16 year-old daughters to a Mother-Daughter Retreat. This is a wonderful opportunity to spend a morning together, sharing and pondering about the many beautiful ways God created you as a woman, and rejoicing at the wonderful plan He has for you to live a happy and fulfilling life. Registration ($20 for mother-daughter pair) is now open.

Seasons of Hope

If you are in need of consolation after losing a loved one, Seasons of Hope, a Christ-centered faith sharing group, meets on Wednesday evenings. To learn more, please pick up a pamphlet from the display case in the main entrance of the church or in the parish office. 


Parish Gift Shop

Now Open on Sundays, following the 11:30 am Mass


We are pleased to announce the parish gift shop is now open following the 11:30 am Mass (approx. 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm). The gift shop hours will expand over time as the ministry continues to grow.



Fall Food Drive

supports the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry


The parish community is invited to donate needed items. Bags with a list of suggested items will be available in the Narthex on September 29. Donations can be dropped off in the designated areas in the Narthex or in the blue barrels at the St. Vincent de Paul Office (Bldg. 7).

Pilgrim Statue of Our Lady of Grace

Sign-ups: Weekend of October 13 (Narthex)


If you are interested or would like to have the Pilgrim Statue of our Lady of Grace in your home for a week, please visit the table in the narthex on the weekend of October 15. This statue travels to and from parishioners' homes each week as a form of devotion.

Project Andrew

October 5, 9am

St. Louis Parish


This event is designed for young men, ages 14 to 49, to help you discern a vocation to the priesthood. It is an opportunity to meet many priests from the Austin Diocese, hear their discernment stories, and learn about the priesthood. We will also celebrate Mass and spend time in prayer and adoration. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

A Prayer Retreat

October 19, 9 am to 2:30 pm

Cedarbrake Catholic Retreat Center


A Prayer Retreat will be offered Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Cedarbrake Catholic Retreat Center in Temple. Pope Francis has inaugurated a Year of Prayer ahead of the 2025 Jubilee. Cedarbrake chaplain, Father Harry Dean, will lead this retreat on prayer with inspiration from Pope Francis and insight from a book by Father Albert Haase, OFM titled The Persistent God: A Guide to Deepening Prayer.
