Oratorian Congress

From October 1-8, the international Confederation of the Oratory will meet at a retreat house outside of Rome for its Congress which is held once every six years. At these meetings, governance topics are discussed as well as any proposed changes to the international constitutions are debated and voted upon. In addition, these gatherings allow Oratorians from around the world to meet with one another to learn more about the growth, progress, and challenges of each others’ communities and works. Delegates from the more than 90 Houses will be present, including Fathers Mark Paul and Anthony who will be representing the Brooklyn Congregation.

Please keep this gathering in your prayers, so that the vision of Saint Philip - currently alive and well here in Brooklyn - may be kept burning brightly well into the future both here and abroad!

Adult Faith Formation Small Groups

Oratory Small Groups will be resuming weekly meetings! We hope you will consider joining a small group. A faith-sharing group is a small gathering of parishioners who come together to discuss and share their faith. Often based on the Sunday scripture readings, it's a supportive environment where folks walk with one another on their faith journey. There are several groups that are open to new members. Interested? Please sign up! https://forms.gle/kTYLaNaMHcx2WCmLA

Visuals Day 2

Because of an unexpected camera malfunction, DeSales Media, a professional media company, will return to capture video of our beautiful churches and wonderful parishioners. On Sunday, September 29, DeSales Media videographers will attend our parish Masses to capture the celebration of Mass and our parishioners. Be aware that you may be photographed. We will use these images on our website and social media.

Oratory Parishes: Let’s Get Involved

We hope you are thinking/praying with the handout you received on Homecoming weekend that listed the parish ministries/groups. There are close to 30 opportunities for you to get involved. What can you do in service to your community? Please fill out the online form to express your interest.

Event is free, but tickets are required.
